Description

The Space

Our bright, beautifully furnished 2bd/2bth condo sits on a tree-lined street just mins from Warner Bros, Universal, ABC, NBC & Disney Studios. Underground parking, gym, hot tub, on-site laundry, BBQ grills. Just 10 mins from Burbank Bob Hope airport.

Our beautifully furnished 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is bright, peaceful, and the perfect "home" for your time in LA. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher) and is fully available for your use. Also available for cooking purposes are very nice BBQ grills in the common area. In the condo you'll have access to free high-speed wifi, full AT&T Uverse cable (which you'll enjoy on our 60" wall-mounted flat screen TV!), Apple TV, and central air and heat.

You'll also have access to the common area in our complex which includes a year round hot tub, BBQ grills, lounge chairs, a great little gym (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, 4-way circuit trainer (bench press, lat pull-down, leg press, leg raises, etc.), free weights, and full mirrors), credit card operated laundry machines on the premises, and you'll have 2 assigned, underground parking spots in our gated garage.

I will not be around to interact with guests, as I'll be in Georgia working on the tv show The Walking Dead! I may, just may, be able to send guests an autographed photo of their host as a zombie, however... ;-)

The neighborhood is awesome. We're walking distance from Starbucks, the grocery store, several cute restaurants, bars, nail salons, banks, a 24 hour dry cleaner... pretty much everything you could want. Yet the neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, tree-lined, and safe. We're also VERY close to Warner Brothers and Universal Studios (both great attractions for guests visiting LA), as well as NBC, ABC, and Disney Studios for guests who may be in town working for a bit. And we're 10 minutes away from the Burbank Bob Hope airport, so if you fly in or out of there it's a piece of cake. Just a short drive away (we're talking 15 mins or less) are the Hollywood Bowl, Kodak Theater (where the Oscars are), Grauman's Chinese Theater (where the Oscars used to be), the Walk of Fame, Capital Records building, Mulholland Drive, Runyon Canyon (LA's famous hiking spot where you can watch dogs and shirtless men for days), Griffith Park (the Griffith Observatory is here, so is the Hollywood sign), LA Zoo, and much more.

We all know that public transit in LA isn't ideal. But, we are 1.5 miles from the Universal City Red Line Metro Rail station. The Red Line can take you one stop further into North Hollywood (which is a very cute up and coming area) or in the other direction, which is Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles/Chinatown. There it connects with the Gold Line to Pasadena/East Los Angeles, the Blue Line to Long Beach, the Purple Line to Koreatown, the Expo Line to Culver City and the Green Line to LAX and El Segundo/Redondo Beach. There are also buses available that can easily be taken around the city. And FYI an Uber car from the Burbank airport is only around $9.

House Rules

I expect guests to treat my home respectfully. No smoking allowed inside. Because I spent several years in Japan I prefer no shoes on inside. There's a perfect little tile stoop where you can leave them at the door and make yourself comfortable. :-)
