Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Glenys was a very attentive and talkative hostess. She provided delicious food in generous proportions and the accommodations were adequate. Although the flat is set up for wireless I was never able to get on, but Glenys allowed me to use her computer to access the Internet.

    Response from Glenys:

that was a shame.a previous guest logged in with the code fine. There was a help line number but Susan felt that it was easier just to use mine.

  • Glenys is very friendly and inspirational person, full of energy. We had a lovely stay and were provided with everything we needed, from transfer to raincoats. Glenys also helped us with planning our journey and told many interesting things about Wales, places to see and life experience as well :)

  • Very nice experience in Carmarthen. Glenys is a great person with an enormous vitality and friendly. We shared 24 hours of good conversation in English. I recommended her in special because improving my English was one of my goals. To be in touch with local people, know more about other places and customs in my holidays in Wales. It was perfect
    Thank you Glenys

great to hear from you and to have you stay.Come again any time. Thanks Lorraine.

  • Ah, I was so sad to leave Glenys' lovely home, she was so wonderful and I could not have asked for more from my stay with her! My trip was due to a sick relative in hospital nearby, and Glenys was 100% supportive, facilitated local knowledge that was instrumental to me having an easy stay, plus good food, impeccably clean room, sheets and towels, lots of much needed laughs, sound advice - and she listened to my woes all week, thank you Glenys! I'm definitely planning another stay (a holiday this time!) with her at some point - hopefully to do some oil painting - because the experience was so super.

  • Glenys was a fabulous host. She went out of her way to make sure my dietary requirements were met (and exceeded) and that I had some yummy local Welsh flavours as well! Delicious! [You should open a cafe, Glenys!]
The room was a twin and spacious with little extras and it was all sparkling clean.

Thanks Amy. gluten free is gluten free but we couldn't tell huh? So glad you enjoyed.Bring your mum over next time and we'll go for a Spa by the sea overlooking cardigan Bay.

  • Glenys is a wonderful, generous host who made time to show me the good things of life in Wales. The music and poetry in the village inn was something I'll never forget, along with the beauty of the country and seaside around Carmarthan. The room was comfortable and clean, there is a bus stop right outside the front door and the food was delicious. Thank you Glenys.

  • Glenys was a wonderful host from our arrival to leaving the following day. The room was immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable.
She also very kindly provided some lovely home cooked food both in the evening of our arrival and the following morning with a good hearty breakfast to help us on our way on our charity motorcycle ride around the perimeter of Wales, Ride Cymru.
To save on getting a taxi, she even took us into town to meet our friends!
Glenys impressed us with her wonderful stories about her travels around the world and it was obvious she enjoys life!!
She went to a lot of effort to ensure our stay was a pleasant one, even down to the bars of chocolate left on our pillows!
I would certainly recommend a stay with Glenys to anyone who is visiting the area. Thank you so much!
All the best, Mark and Chris
