We are close to everything, but away from it all. Setting at the top of a rock cliff overlooking an old rock quarry pond. This place is truly unique. Not to mention the fact that you are in a super posh underground dome earth house. This is a place to "unplug" and relax and do nothing. Set outside by the pond and relax by the outdoor gas firepit or enjoy the outdoor spa, a stone soaking tub.

The space
The Sassafras is part of a 34 acre wedding venue and retreat known as Waterstone. Also on the property is 2 additional Artisan structures available to rent: The Bostonian and The Greek Cottage. Each one is full of Character and charm. We love having repeat guest that want to try them all out. We value design that compliments nature and fits in to natural surroundings. The Sassafras and The Greek Cottage were featured on DIY's "Building off the Grid" Check out all the construction details and watch our family on TV.

Property access is thru a gated entry. There are 3 cottages on the property. Your experience here is private and serene.

House has a Stove Top, Microwave, Keurig, Air-Fryer, Fridge/Freezer.

Starter toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

We are in the process of building another structure. Some construction on property will be going on during business hours occasionally
