My 2 month stay at Alice's house was excellent! There was one other roommate, so three of us in the house, and it was nice company, plenty of space. The house was kept clean, and Alice was very thoughtful and caring, a fantastic host. She offered many suggestions in the area for things to do, and kept me up to date on anything relevant to my stay. I would definitely stay again!

I was in Austin for 8 weeks on a clinical internship, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Alice is a wonderful person and respectful roommate, and her house is adorable! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood a few miles north of the city, but it was an easy commute downtown and to where I was working north of the city. I felt safe, and the neighborhood and surrounding areas are great for running/exploring. She was very good at communicating early on and making sure that I felt safe and welcomed. I would definitely recommend staying with Alice, and I hope to be back in Austin to visit her sometime in the future !

Worthwhile. It was 10 minutes away from my work internship which is close to the University of Texas campus.

I stayed here for three monhts during a fellowship at UT. The location is perfect. The bus stop is just in front of the house and it takes 15 minutes to downton and UT campus (free for UT students and staff). The description and the photos are exactly as things are. The neighborhood is nice, with a couple of very good cafeterías, restaurants and a small grocery market. Alice is very kind and easy going. I really enjoyed my time in Austin with her.

Hi, I'm from New Haven, CT, grew up in faraway lands, and arrived in Austin a few years ago. I'm a scientist and a rowing coach and rower. Austin has by far the best river to row on anywhere! I'm easy going, friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. Have had wonderful housemates thru this service. Please contact me if you need short or long term housing for 1 month or longer.
