Interaction with Guests
My schedule is always up and down. So if available I'm happy to go around exploring and sharing this lovely city NY :)
In between the Montrose and Morgan stops off the L train a short 12 minute commute to Union Square in Manhattan a major hub train station that can get you pretty much Anywhere within NYC. Plenty of great bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. Very safe at All hours, and even a new great vintage clothing store right on the corner that's actually very fair priced!
L train a short 3 minute walk away and less than 15 minutes to Union Square.
Other Things to Note
Laundry in building as well too, if one wishes to do so.
Not many rules really besides no cigarette smoking. Just please clean your dishes right away. Oh please wipe and close the toilet seat, and please remove any hair from shower drain before ending your shower, please leave the bathroom doors open (to know if someone's in there or not) and please don't feed the cat! :) He'll pretend he hasn't eaten in days :P
My first Airbnb experience! Rico has by far one of the coolest places I've ever seen. His place is like a museum. So much history at his place all over the place. He was able to accommodate me in such late notice as I was arriving in New York. I was bit sad I couldn't spend more time at his place or talk to Rico since I was on a tight schedule. Highly recommend staying here! Great place and area. Will be back soon!
Rico was super amazing. Totally made me feel right at home right from the start. Wish I could have stayed longer. Loved the neighborhood and Bogart the cat is way sweet and welcoming too.
I definitely recommend staying at this spot.
Man, I had a blast! Rico's apartment is definitely one of the coolest Airbnb spots I've been to so far. Really unique interior, location is ace, too. 2mins walking east and you're on Bogart St where you'll find cool bars, nice little convenience shops, and some amazing restaurants (definitely try the pizza at Roberta's). 2mins west is Bushwick Avenue where you'll find everything else you need (Delis, Laundromats, Barbershops etc).
Rico himself is super chill and crazy at the same time ;) He's one of those persons you just feel very comfortable to be around and he took great care of everything.
Highly recommend checking this place out for yourself, you're not gonna regret it.
Rico was amazing! I had to book last minute because my other reservation fell through and Rico was totally accommodating, super nice, and was great for telling me all about the neighborhood.
The place is super cool and the room I stayed in was very cozy. I can't recommend it enough for an awesome and memorable time in NYC
Best Choice in Brooklyn.
Rico, our host, was the friendliest, most authentic cool person we met in ny. Provided us with everything we needed. Party food lifestyle. Thx a lot.
The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Transparent, timely and downright welcoming. The room was cozy and quiet, and Rico was kind enough to suggest local nightlife destinations that I otherwise could not have discovered - couldn't recommend more highly.
