Mimi is a warm and welcoming hostess and offers a comfortable suite in beautiful Shaker Heights. It is centrally located to Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Art Museum and Orchestra Hall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

You can not and will not find a better place to stay in Cleveland. My family was in Cleveland for Junior Gold Bowling and this house was the perfect location for quiet relaxation in-between driving to 5 different lanes across the city. It's location allowed us to REALLY see Cleveland since everything was either in walking distance or short driving distance. Mimi knows this town and can send you to anywhere with ease. I just loved staying here and will always stay here when our travels bring us to Cleveland.

Lovely hospitality in a lovely home. Quiet old neighborhood with great access to public transportation and to walking and bike trails. Shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. Mimi and family are friendly and so helpful, and the attic suite is spotless, with comfy beds, plenty of hot water, and a cute kitchenette that's adequate for simple meals.

Mimi was hospitable and welcoming the minute we arrived in Cleveland! The rooms were clean and organized and Mimi offered us pretty much anything we could have wanted during our stay there! She and her husband Bill even left us a bottle of wine and chocolate for our anniversary! We could not recommend them more.

Excellent location. I loved walking into the square in the evening for dinner and looking at the neat houses. Mimi was very helpful and gave good recommendations. They have a lovely patio and yard you can sit in. The rooms were clean and comfortable though not quite an apartment. There isn't a kitchen but Mimi does provide a hot plate, coffee pot, fridge, and for us tea drinkers a proper tea kettle. I, being a bit taller managed to bump my head on the ceiling at times but the room and bed were very comfortable. I found the wifi to be spotty and slow so I ended up using my LTE service otherwise I had a great stay at Mimi's. I was in town for work and would much prefer Mimi's over a hotel.

Response from Mimi:
Thanks so much for visiting us, James. We'll be working with Time Warner to speed up the wifi on every floor. Glad you got a chance to explore the neighborhood.

This place is a real gem! The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable and the living area has a small refrigerator, microwave, hot induction plate and everything in terms of cooking utensils one may need. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe, yet conveniently close (a 10 minute walk) to a grocery store, pharmacy, shops and restaurants. Mimi is a wonderful, gracious host and thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with milk and yogurt and even provided delicious fresh ground coffee. She was very helpful and accommodating with special needs I had during my stay and very knowledgeable about the area and places to see and things to do in Cleveland. I would highly recommend this lovely suite to anybody visiting Cleveland either for a short or extended stay.

I grew up in Cleveland, lived in the NYC/NJ area for many years and moved back here in 2003. I love being back - it is so easy to get places, so affordable and people are so nice and friendly. You can enjoy the beauty of nature all around you when you walk out your door and still be near countless cultural and urban pleasures a few blocks away.

I still love visiting New York and look forward to doing a lot more travel in the years ahead.
