The Space

Cosy one room apartment in a private condominium plunged in the greenery on a green cape overlooking Lipari and all the Aeolian beautiful islands. The condominium offers a very big shared swimming pool with sea water, tennis court, private beach (of stone), parking place, children playground.
The apartement is on the first and top floor, about 30 sqm big, composed of living/bedroom with one double bed and a single sofa bed with another pull out bed underneath, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, seaview balcony. Comfortable for 2/3 people. Can sleep up to 4

A minimum night stay is requested and it varies thoughout the season.

Vulcano is an enchanting island with breathtaking landscapes, the most beautiful sunsets I ever seen and a special atmosphere and energy you feel while there that will make you fall in love with the leat this happened to us!
The residence is located in a quiet area on a green cape facing Lipari Island, about 3 kms away from the village with shops, restaurants, bars, supermakets, drugstore, post office, the harbour, 5 min drive to the beaches "les sables noirs" and " acque calde" where hot springs come out from the depth providing a mild temperature to the sea water all year round. Not to be missed: the thermal spring and its therapeutic mud and
water, a trekking over the central Volcan crater, a journey to Capo Grillo the most panoramic place where you could enjoy a fantastic view of all the Eolian Islands and to the lighthouse in Gelso. Also worth a visit the less touristic beaches of Cannitello and Asino on the south-east coast.
It is definetely advisable to rent a car or scooter to discover every corner of the beatiful Vulcano Island.

Guest Access

Guest will access the entire private apartment. They can also enjoy the residence common areas:the seawater pool, the garden, the children playground, private beach (rocky stones equipped with a wodden solarium during summer season)

Interaction with Guests

I do not live in Vulcano so my hosekeeper will hand over the keys hten guest can enjoy complete privacy and interact with me by phone, if needed

The Neighborhood

The residence where the apartment is located lies in a dominant position, plunged in nature, with breathtaking view and the most beautiful sunsets I ever seen. Take the time to enjoy such a great show of the nature in the different corners of the residence and you will get unforgettable memories!

Getting around

The residence is about 3 km from the village Vulcano porto. It is advisable to have a car or a scooter that you could also rent on the island. There is a private parking space near the apartment. From Catania airport you can take the Giunta Bus to get to Milazzo, the harbour where there are plenty of connection to Vulcano island, via ferry or hydrofoil.

Other Things to Note

A journey to Vulcano is truly a lifetime experience, you could feel the energy of the Vulcan, enjoy clean sea and beautiful beaches, take baths in the natural mud pond with its unique therapetic effects, go hiking along several pathways especially one leading up to the big crater, take boat and canoe tour discovering all the caves and grottoes.... . Come and discover the Vulcano island beauty!

  • A very nice comfy apartment with an amazing view!
We were travelling across the Italy and we ended up on the Vulcano Island. The Island and the apartment were so nice that we even stayed an extra night.
The town is about 2,5 km from the apartment, but there's a private wooden/rock place where you can access the sea. Thanks to Michela (the keyholder) we were able to rent a scooter at Luigi's to travel across the island.

And of course there's the Grand Cratere with an amazing view!

    Thank You Claudia!

  • The most beautiful view towards Lipari. The apartment is a bit small and situated quite a bit away from the city/harbour. The pool is great and big, but closed for siesta and after 18:00.
you need some sort of transportation from the apartment to the city/grocery stores etc. We rented bicycles at "Luigi", which worked really great. They picked us up at the apartment and were also really helpful. Expect quite a steep climb on the way to the apartment.
All in all a very nice place, great service from Claudia the owner, and her helper Michaela on the island.

  • We loved our stay at Vulcano and enjoyed the stay at the appartment.
Claudia is a wonderful, friendly host - even when she is not nearby.

You might need a car at this area of Vulcano - there is no supermarket nearby. We "survived" without a car.
