Andrés is an incredibly kind and hospitable host, whom welcomes you into his home with open arms. The property is very relaxing, especially the garden, which reflects the overall vibe of the place. It's a short walk from the central park of the city, where the $1 bus to the airport stops every hour. Also, Andrés is a great cook!
Andrés definitely lived up to all of the hype, that I read about him before I had the pleasure of meeting him ! His home is very convenient to Central Park and there's many good places to eat, shop and be entertained from only walking distance from your room. He is a wonderful host and an even better person. Long after I stayed with him, we stayed in touch and he provided me with advice and suggestions that were very crucial for my wellbeing and overall safety. He's very knowledgeable of the area and has an overall great sense of how life is meant to be lived. I am honored to call Andrés my friend !
Had a GREAT time in Liberia with Andrés! He picked me up from the bus station and showed me around Liberia on the way to the apartment. He gave me tons of recommendations for things to do around the area - eventually we went exploring Río Liberia and stopped by a farmers market! By the way Andrés is an AWESOME cook)! Bed was comfy and the Liberia heat didn't bother me at all with the fan. Great experience.
Second stay with Andrés was even better!! My friend came to stay with us and we all had a great time at the Annexation of Guanacaste celebrations. The next morning we had a blast at a nearby spa and organic farm! Andrés is hilarious and an excellent host - and he can't walk 3 feet (or 15 minutes!) without making a new friend. I met some awesome people in Liberia and hope to return soon!! Thanks for everything Andrés!

Andres was a great host!
He picked us up at the bus station, walked us to his place, and helped us get settled into our room. He even let us move some beds around to accommodate. He is quite entertaining and has endless suggestions for the area as he has lived there for years. No a/c but a fan was provided and it worked out fine. It's just a hot city in general!
His place is quite homey and we cooked breakfast each morning and ate it in the backyard area. Great place to stay to check out Liberia or head to one of the national parks. Just remember, Rincon is closed Mondays!
About the Host, Andrés
As CEO of a Urban Mining Company and soon as responsible of more than 80 employees, I have to think about cultural exchange during holidays, We would like to see and to experience as much as possible and relaxing too while our holidays.
This is why I believe, that AirB&B is a excellent community. It is world wide, it is on a private level and it is personally. The best way to detect cultures. The people here in Guanacaste, they have the wish, also to travel in other countries.
And the AirBnB network seems, to serve this need on a very friendly mood.
We are happy to welcome all AirB&B members to Liberia all over the world.
