Upon entering the main ground floor door, you'll see the accessible queen room on your right, and just ahead is a coat closet with an iron and ironing board and other items. Moving forward you'll enter the game room with a billiards table, mini fridge, a grand game table with seating for 8, recliner sofa and couch, board games, the Roku TV and a Blu-Ray/DVD player, and area information and maps. The game table chairs are not to be used as toys.

The cabin has electric central air and heat, nightlights, ceiling fans in the upstairs rooms, and area things-to-do maps and information.

All bedrooms have a chest, dresser, or closet, night stand, mirror, bed linens, pillows, blankets, and a plush blanket set aside for getting extra cozy. All bedding is laundered after every check-out - do not reshelve used blankets.

The twin room provides 2 twin beds with outlets in the headboard for easy charging. The beds can be converted into a king bed if you ask in advance.

The kitchen has appliances, wares, amenities and essentials to get you started, and ample cabinet and counter space. You'll find a coffee drip pot and pod brewer, tea kettle, Maxwell House ground, sugar and creamer (bring your own pods and favorite creamer). City water on tap. Emergency items (sewing, first aid, flashlight) can be found in a kitchen drawer.

We only welcome well behaved dogs 2 max) with their responsible pet-people who keep them off beds and furniture, tidy after them indoors, pick up after them in the yard, and do other awesome-pet-people things. If you're bringing your dog, indicate so in your reservation or with a message, then clean up after it as though it was never there.

Enjoy the spacious yards. We've provided a stone campfire area, roasting sticks, and a park-style grill. Buy firewood locally or from us. Bring your camp chairs, yard games, and charcoal. *Do Not climb the old chimneys.

The Chickadee Cabin is named after the bird. Social, curious and always on the move, these little guys are often seen before they're heard. With black caps and white cheeks, watch for them at the forests edge all year-round.
