Daniel is a welcoming host and around if you need him. The location is great and the place was clean.
My girlfriend and I could not be happier with the Zilker festival suite. Plenty of room, wonderful amenities and a comfortable bed! Daniel could not have been more hospitable. Covered our bikes to protect them from the rain, and greeted us with a warm smile whenever our paths crossed. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything. A hop , skip, and a jump from Barton Springs and South Lamar!
My husband & I had an all-too-short stay in Daniel Komer’s well-pointed & immaculate studio apartment. It has a separate entrance & easy parking. Inside, there is everything one could want: wifi microwave, coffeemaker, TV, super-nice bathroom with easily accessible shower (that is, not in a bathtub that a person has to step over), & more. One reason I wanted to stay at Daniel’s accommodation was the Murphy Bed, which lowers from cabinet storage in the wall. It is a proper queen bed & very comfortable. So the apartment can be a living room as well as a bedroom. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed walking. Overall great value for money.
Daniel himself is a warm, welcoming, gracious host who has clearly thought through the comfort of visitors. There is a garden behind the house that is available to guests. He has four dogs who are friendly but not overwhelming—indeed, we did not hear them bark the entire time we were there.
We highly recommend Daniel’s accommodation!
Daniel was a fantastic host. He gave us a tour of the property and we got to meet his lovely dogs, who are equally as friendly! The property was nice, clean and provided all of the things necessary for our stay. The neighborhood was fantastic, quiet and close to everything. I will definitely use his property again in the future.
Daniel made us feel very welcome, we were there for two short days and when we arrived he greeted us with excitement. He also showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. It was clean and easy!
My wife and I stayed in the Zilker Festival Suite for our visit to Austin during SXSW week - a time when accommodation in Austin is expensive. The suite is the smaller of the accommodations offered by Daniel on his property and comprises a bedroom with a Murphy bed, an en suite and a microwave and fridge. While "cosy" it was more than adequate for our needs and at the right price and Daniel was a perfect host providing us with a kettle and toaster. The location in Zilker is perfect for a visit to Austin.
