We have ample space for your recreation vehicle, and can accommodate tents. We seem to attract bicycle campers. Keep in mind there is no private room for this listing -- the web page requires a bed and studio, bedroom or apartment stated even though there is none. It is for campers!
Dry camping for an RV with rain water available. Secluded only twenty minutes from Hilo airport, the university, Hilo Beaches, and the Volcano National Park.
If camping or bicycle camping, you might check this site out as well.
There is no "private room"; this was the lessor of three choices the website allows.
The old adage is: ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; and knock and the door will be opened unto you.
Interaction with Guests
We try to be as helpful to our guests is possible. We know the island well. And we can make recommendations. Don't be bashful, just ask.
Our neighbor hood is safe, horseback riders are on the street along with walkers and joggers. Please be careful when driving.
The local bus stop is a 10 or 15 minute walk to the highway. Bus transportation on the big Island is infrequent. Please check the schedules.
Other Things to Note
We do get many inquiries for camping. We provide no tents. You can stop at Walmart and purchase a tent Bicycle campers seem to like this place. They stretchout a tarp for the rain. And sleep under it in sleeping bags.
No drugs. No smoking. No partying. No pets. Enjoy nature.
Beautiful property, lots of nature, close to all the great spots on this side of the island. Quiet, peaceful, lots of space, everything was clean and bathroom was made available. Lots of fruit trees that were shared freely. Robbert and Barbara are exceptional people could have stayed forever. If your camping look no further, best place on the island.
Friendly couple, beautiful place. Gorgeous orchard, not far from Keaau, great for a little getaway. Very earth friendly to boot!

We are retired and run a few rentals on the Big Island in the cool, lush, rain forest.
Our rentals are clean, fresh, and open air nestled in the rain forest with lush tropical vegetation, flowers and birds.
Most importantly, drive time is twenty minutes to the ocean, Volcano National Park, Hilo airport and the University. It is a 45 minute drive or longer to the top of Mauna Kea to see the stars like you have never seen them before. It is a two hour drive to the Kona airport and Kona beaches.
Presently, our rentals are full but camping is a possibility.
