Neil, it was great to meet you and Linda. You are both incredible people and it was a honor to get to meet you both. The cabin was immaculately clean (we actually thought it was brand new) and a pleasure to stay in. The view was so incredible I will remember it for the rest of my life. I have one particularly fond memory of standing outside on a quiet sunny morning listening to some beautiful bird songs and enjoying the incredible healing energy of nature. Thank you for that experience!
Neil and Linda were absolutely perfect hosts. Their cabin is truly a paradise with stunning views, wildlife, fishing, horses, all right there in front of you. The cabin is immaculate, comfortable, and we enjoyed cooking our daily meals there and just relaxing on the porch. Our young boys had the opportunity to experience horses up close, and enjoyed going for a ride around the grounds. Our only regret is that we didn't stay even longer-we definitely will next time! Highly recommended!
Cabin in close proximity to Yellowstone: yes
Beautiful surroundings and great view out the window: yes
Warm and caring hosts: yes
Additional "perks" of this cabin: We really enjoyed watching the horses in the pasture next door, (and hearing their sounds!). There are deer that roam nearby. The cabin is near enough to Bozman. The surrounding area of Paradise Valley had plenty of nice places to explore as well. This included a bakery cafe, general store with plenty of supplies, river fishing and a Hot Springs resort nearby.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was restful, beautiful and convenient; yet tucked away and private. We will always have special memories and certainly recommend this place to others to enjoy!
We had such a wonderful and memorable time falling in love with Montana at Neil's cabin. It's more beautiful and scenic than the photos do it credit, the sunsets from the front and side porches were amazing and the yard is beautifully landscaped with flowering natives and trees. Neil was very kind, prompt, and attentive. Every morning there were deer in the yard, ground squirrels running around in the lawn, and birds chattering, no sounds of anything but nature. It was a quick and easy drive to Yellowstone outside of the bustle and hurry of the tourism circuit, and a lovely drive north brings you along the Yellowstone river, pastures, and quiet little towns and shops. The cabin itself is meticulously kept, extremely clean, comfortable, and lovingly decorated. It was a joy to come back to every day after long hikes in the park, and had everything we needed. Open some windows in the evening, enjoy the scattered rainstorms and the horses in the pasture, and fully relax. Thank you Neil!
To review the basics -- the cabin in Paradise Valley is meticulously appointed. Clean, good linens, comfortable furnishings.
We were looking for something quiet and restful -- away from the maddening crowd but still within close proximity of Bozeman, Big Sky and Yellowstone (if you want the chaos of Yellowstone, that can be found in Gardiner -20 min away, at the cabin you are out of the chaos of the travelers fray). We found that and more in the wonderful retreat created by the owners, Linda and Neil.
There is no shortage of magical adventures to be had both near and far from the cabin here in Paradise Valley. Those adventures can be had just off the front stoop -- the view from the patio chairs is nothing short of breathtaking for both the sunrise and sunset. Or take a quick road run (all downhill and then uphill!) for some morning vigorous exercise. You can also visit Chico Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the historic communal pool, or venture up to Livingston for a relaxed coffee shop destination place. Plus, there are so many hiking adventures NOT in Yellowstone that are only a handful of minutes from the cabin and much less traveled -- what's not to love!
And of course, you can use this cabin to venture to Yellowstone, or venture north to Bozeman or, even further Big Sky to take the gondola up to Lone Peak. At the end of the day, have a perfectly calming environment to return as a road weary traveller.
It's no Super 8. It's a special spot lovingly cared for and prepared for your stay by Linda and Neil. It's a place where you are offered true hospitality and a space for restful retreat.
We all look forward to returning!!!
From the kids:
(Jacob, 10) It was small and comfy. Our hosts Neil and Linda were very nice and thoughtful. They brought over there horse named Ms.Magic and we got to lead her and brush her.
(Emma, 8) I liked the loft and the ladder to it. If you are lucky, Neil will bring over Miss Magic the pony. And he might teach you a little about horses.
Neil is an amazing hos, very welcoming and helpful with allthe information you needt! The cabin is beautifu with a great view on the valley.
Our family could not have chose a better home and host to spend our summer Yellowstone adventure with. We felt well taken care of, even before our arrival, through great communication. The cabin is immaculately kept and there are helpful guides/maps provided of the exploration in the surrounding area. The home is peaceful, with amusing animals, wild and domestic, to welcome you. Please experience the beauty and hospitality of Linda and Neil yourself!

Neil was very sophisticated and professional to prepare all the amenities for a cabin stay. However, it was more than a neat, clean and cozy cabin. The cabin actually provided us with a healing atmosphere that we all felt that we were being energized during the stay.
Especially, Neil showed us his whispering horsemanship in person and our kids loved him and his horses. Anyway, I have to come back to his cabin again because my wife and kids are already missing this place so much.
Staying in Neil's cabin is by far the best cabin experience ever.
Soon as we arrived, Neil and Linda hosted us as if we were their family members. Their gifts of fruits, fresh farm eggs, herbal medicines for our son's allergies, and constant guidance about the ranch and the national park were among so many memories we brought back from this trip.
A true ranch experience with the best possible hospitality can be expected from them, hence, we would surely like to return in future and stay with them again.
