Fantastic location for visiting SF! Directly across the street from Golden Gate Park, and a 0.3 mile walk (less than 10 min) from De Young museum, California Academy of Sciences, and Japanese Tea Garden. Rent bikes or skates from Dave at Golden Gate Park Bike & Skate Rental, right next door to the apartment. Short 0.7 mile walk to delicious, authentic, and inexpensive Asian restaurants on Clement St. Super easy to get on the highway that takes you across the GG Bridge to Marin County. You can be in Sausalito in 15 min or in Muir Woods in 25 min without traffic.
The place is a small, well-cared for junior one bedroom, and you will have it all to yourselves. Bed is a queen. You are welcome to take advantage of the kitchen, which includes a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, toaster oven, and electric tea kettle. Free access to password-secured wi-fi network. Sorry, there's not a TV (I typically stream movies and TV shows on my laptop), nor is there a hairdryer, iron, microwave, or coffeemaker.

Alice was great. She helped me check in while she was out of town using a 3rd party service. The apartment was as described and a perfect location. Great experience overall.
Alice's apartment was perfect for our stay in San Francisco. It is a nice, cozy space and in a great location directly across from Golden Gate Park. I would highly recommend her apartment for your stay!
Alice's apartment was perfect for our short weekend in SF! She was very easy to communicate with and was flexible with check in and check out times. Her apartment was clean, cozy and in a quiet building with a great location.
Alice's apartment is quiet, clean, and comfortable. There's an entrance to the park literally across the street, as well as a stop for a bus that runs directly downtown. It's also walking distance to the Haight or to Clement Street, which is where locals go for dim sum and other Asian food.
The person with whom she left the key with met us at the exact time and place we'd agreed upon, without any hassle.
If you're not used to San Francisco apartments, this one might look a little small, but I can tell you they're all like that unless you're a millionaire.
Alice's apartment is very good; cozy and comfortable. It is right in front of Golden Gate park,5 mins walk from a Safeway store, and bus 5 stops right below the apartment. The apartment is neat and has all the facilities one would want for a home away from home. Alice is a good host and was patient enough to reply to all my queries. I would definitely stay in her place if I visit SFO again, and recommend it to others.
Alice's apartment is located in an excellent location, nearby the Golden Gate Park and also close to several bus lines. There's a 24 hours Safeway, a cafe (which provides good coffee and bagels), a laundromat within walking distant. The room itself is clean, cozy, and fully equipped. Alice is a warm and nice person. She is easy to communicate and also quick in responding to any questions. The only downside is that it's hard to find a parking nearby. There's a night that we spent almost an hour to find a parking space. And also there's no curtain in the bedroom which makes us a little bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was perfect living in Alice apartment. I'll give 5 stars to Alice and her place.
My husband and I had a great time in San Francisco. We brought our car and found street parking very close by, even late at night. We found everything we needed in Alice' s apartment. My husband complained about the fact that there was no coffee maker. He made a little loop around the block and returned with his coffee, problem solved!
Alice was a great host! My wife and I stayed in her comfortable and cozy apartment in the wonderful Richmond District for our new years celebration. Alice's apartment was clean and well kept. It's in a great spot located across from Golden Gate Park, and within a few blocks from some great coffee shops. Oh, and by the way, her apartment smells really good! :)
Great location and communication with the host. The place was in perfect condition when we arrived. The only reason I rate it as a 4 is based on the bedroom window. The window is quite large, and for whatever reason, there isn't a curtain or shade on it. The room is on the backside of the building so other neighbors can look directly into the room. Also, there isn't a way to block out the sun. Sleeping in was tough. Otherwise, everything was great. Thanks Alice!
A great, claen place! Close to several bus lines to get further downtown, and otherwise a great location!
