It was my first time booking through airbnb, and I had a great experience. I stayed at Margot’s place for about a month. Margot was a amazing host. The room was very clean, private and spacious enough for me. Wifi was very fast. The bathroom is well-equipped and very clean. The house is very nice and so close to many shopping malls, restaurants .There is also a Metro bus stop right outside of the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying at Margot’s place. Thank you Margot for your wonderful hospitality.
While looking for a place to live in Miami, I stayed at Margot’s place for about a month. Margot was a great host. I was very skeptical at first since this was my first Airbnb experience, but I immediately felt comfortable. I enjoyed Margot’s company and spent some time conversing in the back patio. The room was very clean, private and spacious enough for me, and my three large suitcases. It has a queen bed which is very comfortable, Satellite TV, and a nice desk where I used my computer. Wifi is also included (and fast). The bathroom is well-equipped and very clean. The house is very nice and it is an good neighbourhood close to many shopping malls, restaurants, and main highways. I definitely recommend staying at Margot’s place. Thank you Margot for your wonderful hospitality.
From the moment I got to Margot's place, she was an amazing host. She was very helpful, genuine and was always looking out for my best interests. The room was private, quiet and well maintained. I enjoyed the luxuries of my own bathroom, which was clean and stocked as well. I had a very enjoyable time in Miami, thanks in part to Margot. Her insight into the city was irreplaceable and allowed to enjoy as much as I could in the limited time I was there. She was also kind enough to make me a thanksgiving dinner, as it was the first time I was missing the holiday. I wholeheartedly would recommend her place to all and everyone! Truly was a great experience
I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. When I came there I met extremely nice women. Through my stay I met a warm and caring person that helped advise and tell me where to go and how to handle myself in this foreign country. At first to be honest I was afraid to live in a room in someone else’s house, but my fear was for nothing. The room and the bathroom as well as the house itself were clean at all times, the bed was comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. There are restaurants and stores in a walking distance.
Besides the place itself, I would recommend going to Margo for the woman she is. I met her friends, which was also extremely nice to me.
They and Margo made my stay so much more enjoyable. They make me want to go back to Miami which I hope I will do soon
Ok, so where to start? I guess the best way to describe living at Margot's place is AMAZING, LOVELY, WARM, FAMILY. From the moment I stepped out of my car, I felt like if I was in my family's house. She helped me settle in my room; that was super clean, modern and the bed super comfortable. She made sure I had everything that I needed. She is a great chef. She also gave me a lot of inside scoops on the best deals and places to eat. The neighborhood is quiet, clean, safe and LOTS of places to eat and shop within walking distance. I had a car for 3 days after that, the rest of the 6 wks I stayed I was on foot. Margot was sweet enough to take me to places that were too far to walk or the Metro didn't go. She even took me to an exam I had to take the last day I was there and even took me to the airport, I'm so greatful. There is also a Metro bus stop right outside of the neighborhood. I used the public transportation (Metro)to go everywhere, with no problem. I also got to meet a lot of her friends, they are now my friends. I went into this experience of Airbnb very skeptical, and I got blessed in so many ways. Margot you are one of the best things that happen to me during my stay in Miami, you are a blessing. Thanks for everything, and anyone looking to live in Miami, you will want to stay at Margot's place!!!!! All the best!!!! Love u Margot, U R the best!!! God bless you and everything in your life!!!!!
I booked with Margot last minute and stayed for two nights. The room and the bathroom were clean. The community was quiet. She was responsive to messages and offered me something to eat while she was cooking upon my late arrival. Breakfast and coffee were provided. She also wrote down the address of the recommended restaurant for me to enter on GPS. It was my first time booking through airbnb, and I had a great a experience.
Margot was super nice and helpful during my one-month stay. The room and house were exactly the same as shown in the picture and kept in clean and tidy condition all the time. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and has plenty of guest parking available. No crazy house rules at all as you can see in some listings...My boyfriend visited me during weekends and Margot has no issues with it. Some guests mentioned the "cat pee" situation but I did not experience any. Margot explained that she was out of the town at that moment and could not take care of it immediately. Overall I highly recommend this place for short-term stay and you will definitely feel like home!
I am a business professional originally from New York, but now live in Miami with my cat Baby. I enjoy welcoming people to my home and in fact entertain a great deal. In fact, I tend to host large dinner parties regularly for all my friends. I cannot live without my cuisinart, my BBQ, my outdoor patio set and of course, chocolate. I have traveled extensively, but mostly for business. I enjoy dining out, tennis, backgammon, and my friends and family. I have strong family values and a great sense of humor. My home is comfortable, but not fussy or fancy. I enjoy having people around and look forward to meeting you!
