Tae was super nice! He met me outside the apt and helped with my bags. Showed me around the apt which was spacious. The location is convenient. He's readily available if you have questions. Great host, thank you Tae.

We have stayed in Tae's place for 2,5 weeks. It is an old apartment in our view. It looks nice on photos but in reality it is very dated. The walls are yellowish and falling off at some places and the bath room is dark and no air circulation at all. The living room is quite dark which requires lamps to be turned on during the day as well where you dine. Unfortunately several lamps in the living room is broken as well. The sleeping room's windows are very badly mounted and they don't even close properly. On some chilly nights, I have to stuff the curtain between the windows to make it bit air tight! On the other hand, it is indeed a quiet neighborhood where you have generally no noise from the city at all in the evening. This is one of the few plus point to me. There's a beer tent downstairs where you can buy thousands of different brands of beer from abroad. And there's also a convinient store around the corner if you need anything. Furthermore, the location of the apartment is not really too good (also not too bad of course). It's in a good district of the city for sure. But the metro is quite a bit of a walk away(1,5km). You can of course take a taxi easily but when we travel with a baby, we tend to not risk taking taxi's when we don't have safety seats for the baby. There are still some good parts. I think Tae is thoughtful of leaving some small daily items in the apartment for the guests convenience. There are complete cooking tools in the kitchen. There are two umbrellas. Tissues boxes are supplied and two liter water tanks as well. So it made our stay at the beginning a little easier. All in all, it is okay for a few days stay if you are looking for something relatively cheap and bigger rooms than hotel in this area of the city.

Tae is very nice and very welcoming. We arrived quite late (around 23h30) because our plane was delayed by 1h30 and Tae waited for us. The appartement is quite nice, very spatious for Shanghai. A bit cold in late autumln, though and it was not very clean. Otherwise, the neighbourhood is ok, very safe. Quite close to the subway (10-15 min walk). For us it was very convinient.

Tae was a great host and even offered us tea, coffee, beer and an umbrella because the weather forecast said rain. He was responsive, polite, and helpful. The apartment is very big for Shanghai and tastefully decorated. The mattress is comfortable and the kitchen is large. There are tons of free movies to watch on his large TV (in case of a rainy day). Would definitely stay here again!

It was a great experience in Shanghai and totally feel free with Tae's place. We was thinking with Chinese ppl negatively but Tae changed our mind by showing his well-mannered that touched our heart. He's very polite host ever! Never lost communication with him both of prior check-in and during stay. We were able reach him all the time and got fast reaction. Whatever we asked, he's always find out the answers. We wish to watched news on TV like CNN or BBC but can't find it so we asked help from Tae and he never hesitated to give his hands even eventually problem cannot be fixed but we were very appreciated in his effort. He can't speak English well (not a big problem at all). We understood and continued the conversation in disregard of the language. His place look same as pictures. Large and clean, Nice and comfy. There is a Police Station opposite apartment so all time safety. Several supermarkets around area. Clothes shops along the way from metro station (Jiaotong University) to his apartment. One fitness nearby like 5 mins by foot. Great location and reasonable price plus host like Tae which will make your stay in Shanghai more and more happier. During the stay, he sent courtesy message to follow up our stay and informed how was the weather look like. Tae is a definitely Mr. Nice Guy!! Moreover he gave 2 cute gifts for us on our departure which was beyond our expectation!!!! Extremely recommend this place and you won't disappointed!!! Thank you very much indeed, Tae :)
