This old style little villa is in the Natural Park of Le Manie, eight minutes by car from the wonderful beach of Varigotti, It has been renovated with handicraft work and conceived as a perfect gateway location completely inside the nature. it's natural elegance is ideal for a couple looking for a very romantic place, but can also be welcoming for up to six friends or a family with grown children. To reach the house it is necessary to leave the car on the main country road and then follow a path for about 150 meters down the hill. This makes it unfortunately not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Once you reach the villa, with no neighbours around, you will be welcomed by a breathtaking terrace where you can enjoy unforgettable breakfast, sunset aperitifs, barbecue dinner and relax on the sunbeds. there is a second veranda leading to the garden downstairs, with a beautiful natural cave and relaxing hammock hanged on two big trees. The house has a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room with a double sofa bed, then two bedrooms upstairs on the mezzanine. The ceiling are very low and there is no privacy sine no doors are there. But the atmosphere is amazing and very original! You will have the opportunity to experience contact with nature and enjoy all the available amenities. Minimum stay is a weekend, no limits for the maximum stay! Pets are welcome, we wait for you!
If you're all in it for the view, this might be the place to visit.
However I recommend that you only rent the house if you have a steady four wheel driver as the roads to the Places are narrow and steep.
This is not a place suitable for people having difficulty walking!
When that’s said, I’ll have to add, that you have to take lightly on the cleaning level, as the house is so dirty, no one could be able to clean it in a week – even if they did nothing else!
But the view is spectacular, Remonas and her mother are nice people and if the house is too hot, you can sleep at the terrace.
Within a short distance, there are three great restaurants, all worth a visit.
Had a wonderful stay at Ramona's house. It's a stunning location, so peaceful, with all the facilities that we needed. Ramona couldn't have been a better host - she was accommodating, flexible, friendly, understanding and easy to contact. We were taken to the house by Ramona's mother, who although doesn't speak much English, was also delightful, and we somehow managed to make each other understood.
I couldn't recommend Ramona or her house highly enough.
Thank you for a lovely break, even if I did drink far too much wine, and eat my own bodyweight in cheese...
Ramonas place is lovely arranged and at a beautiful spot. Her friendly Mother showed the way to the house, we communicated with hand and feet because we couldn't speak italian. We had a bit bad luck with the weather, it was very windy and rainy. Luckily there was a heating stoves and a fire place. Tough we enjoyed a peaceful and romantic weekend, thank you very much!
We had a wonderful time in Ramonas beautiful house. Her mother took us there from the village and we completely disconnected from the world for a few days. The house is perfect for a romantic weekend for 2 persons. Ramona was very helpful when we had a trouble with the gas bottle and when we decided to stay a day longer. The kitchen is well equipped and if you don´t mind some little ants, this will be the perfect place for you to check out from reality. thanks, ramona!!!
Very nice place. The weather was bad and so it was a litttle bit cold...but anyhow: it's a little paradise! Thanky you!
We could never have found this place in the dark without Ramona's Mum, Carla! The Villetta is very rustic and charming - I loved every detail of it. Ramona was extremely helpful from the very beginning/boooking and throughout our journey - even going so far as to accomodate a later departure once we learned that our flight was cancelled. We were looking for a change of scenery from Monaco, and boy did we get it! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We spent our days just driving around the countryside and taking in all of the scenery. Varigotti and the surrounding areas are all beautiful. We hope to return someday during the summer months to enjoy the beaches and other things we missed during this quick, yet unforgettable introductory trip to EU.
I would recommed to future guests that you DO try to arrive during the daylight hours. Train schedules made this impossible for us. The trek down the dark, wet, rocky path at night in sandals with rather large rolling luggage would have been impossible without Carla's flashlight and hand holding!! :)
We did not use the second "room" upstairs as it was just my husband and I. Since there is only a ladder to get upstairs to the bedroom, we ended up just leaving all of our luggage in the living area. It was nice having the full kitchen - it was stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. We found a local grocery store and made our own dinners - what a treat to light the fire, make up some pasta, open some local wine and enjoy the views (even in the rain!). Varigotti and the surrounding countryside offers beautiful beaches, castles, medieval villages, vineyards, great food, etc, Upon leaving in the wee hours of the morning we even encountered a wild boar and then a red fox...
Villetta Rustica Vista Mare is not to be missed!
Thank you so much, Ramona!!
my parents enjoyed their holiday in your idyllic little house unter the rocks and the fantastic view over the sea. Especially my little, six year old brother loved it to discover the drawers and boxes and little things all around. Thanks to your mother for the kindness to show the way. Have a nice time,
