Description

The Space

Beautiful Duplex apartment. Clean and just fully renovated (renovation completed Dec. 2015)

It is right across the street from the Prado Museum --- short walk to Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum, Puerta del Sol, the beautiful Retiro Park, Plaza Santa Ana, Plaza Mayor. The Atocha Train Station, from where you can take the train all around Spain, is a 10 minute walk away.

This is a very spacious and sunny duplex apartment.
It has two large bedrooms (one with a brand new queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. Then the living room has two sofa beds (a queen for two people and a small twin). The sofa beds are great, but obviously not nearly as confortable as real beds (and I can also offer an air mattress)

Huge Living room / Dining room (about 40 sq meters)

two full brand new bathrooms

Two flat screen TVs
brand new beauiful kitchen: washer/dryer, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, family size refrigerator,
air conditiining
*** The apartment has interet and WIFI ****
fully equipped with towels, linens, cooking utensils etc

Also there is a wonderful traditional food market (Mercado) about a 5 minute walk away where you can buy some of the fabulous and fresh food, fish, fruit, vegetables, prosciutto jam (jamon serrano) etc. available in Madrid. The neighborhood is also great for restaurants and cafes.
Could not be more perfect for visiting this beautiful city. Owner lives
nearby. I speak English, French, Spanish and Russian and am happy to
help you if you have any questions about discovering Madrid.

Guest Access

Ideally access to the apartment would be during the working hours of the building doorman (who will let you into my place) which are Monday to Friday 8AM - 13.00PM and 17:00pm-20:00m and also Saturday morning fem 8:00am-13:00pm. If you need to arrive at another hour, please let me know first before you reserve and we can see if I can get someone else to get you keys.

This is the best and most elegant neghborhood in Madrid --- accross the street from the Prado Museum and right next to "Plaza Neptuno' where the Ritz and Palace Hotels are lcated. 5 minute walk to beautiful Retiro Park (and also to Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum)

Getting Around

The apartment is on the man Paseo del Prado that has buses. Subway stops (Atocha and Banco de España ) are both one square away. Also great for walking to everything (Plaza Mayor, Museums, Retiro Park). Quiet apartment as bedrooms face back and living room has brand new windows (pus Paseo del Prado is a wide avenue and not particuarly noisy).
