No shared areas whatsoever. PRIVATE. You may see some Amish wagons with horses go by on the road. Logging trucks or farmers on the rural road. There will be only your party on property. We can accom a full size pick up truck and competition size boats on the driveway with access to plug ins.

Other things to note
The cabin is a 408 sq. ft. custom built Tiny Home on 2 acres out in the country, off the beaten path.

Situated between 2 Tennessee State Wildlife Refuges. The cabin is 'unplugged'; it does not support much electronic communications. It doesn't have WIFI.

It does has carefully curated collections and locally sourced antiques and handcrafted items. We welcome children but it is not child proofed. We don't have any delicate items, particularly, but you should use caution if bringing little ones.

Mother Nature has some rough edges. We also have ladders, fires, bugs, tripping hazards and choking hazards for toddlers.

It features 1 main floor bedroom (2) plus a sleeping loft (2) The Loft requires guests to climb a ladder. There is only ONE bathroom and its downstairs, attached to the main floor bedroom. It is ideal for couples but if you're game for 'Glamping' experience, we will accom more.

You're paying for privacy, exclusivity, highly desirable amenities like a fire pit and loft. Also bringing a pets.

Please research the area and decide if this part of the country suits you. We do not move the house after bookings are confirmed, so "the location" is off the beaten path, in rural middle Tennessee, near the Kentucky border. Part of traveling is expanding your horizons.

House is on a country road, 6 miles from Big Sandy, TN. 5.56 miles to the closest boat launch. 16 minutes South of Paris, TN.

If you do not like the price, location or description, please don't book. Ask ahead of time about any thing you're unsure of. We WANT you to have a 5 star stay. Also, sadly, we have no control over the weather.

Its just a simple cabin with some extra comforts and unique characteristics.

Final housekeeping inspections are performed using Illumin8(tm) black lights to ensure quality cleaning has been performed, giving you the healthiest environment possible.

There is a fire pit and amazing porch area. Lots of parking for boats. It is 5 miles to the closest marina.

Experienced, avid, independent, GLOBAL traveler with almost 1 million air miles. Extreme Adventurer. I am university educated, married, 52 y.o. Canadian female; born and raised in Vancouver. I like ocean kayaking. I teach English online and we have several purebred Labrador Retrievers. We love to attend live music shows when we can. I have attended every Coachella Valley Music and Arts Fest since it's inception. I do Krav Maga (Israeli Martial Arts style), Tae-kwon-do and Karate. I love riding my mountain bike. I recently retired after almost 2 decades of nursing. Not much rattles me - that comes from many years of working in the ER and OR. I am particularly well-informed about infection control. I spent 25 years in the desert cities of California, before re-locating for work and then retiring. My husband builds custom tiny homes and he is a Rancher. We expect to open our 2nd location soon; a slightly larger 'tiny home' located at Paris Landing, Tennessee in Fall 2021!!!! I prefer to say 'yes' over 'no'. The thing I absolutely cannot live without? Lip balm. My favorite part of travelling? Trying new foods. Life Motto? Why Not? and Nothing Ventured - Nothing Gained. As an experienced traveler, I know what I need in a location. I believe this makes me a better host. As a guest, I like my privacy. As as host, I give you yours. We love to offer guests unusual concepts. All our guests say they had a unique experience with a lot of value and flexibility.
