  • I stayed at Mikala's place for 2 nights on a last-minute trip. She responded very quickly and was very helpful, allowing me to book it a few hours before arriving and facilitating my late check-in time. Because I was in Montreal to work I didn't get to spend much time in the room and never actually got to meet Mikala. That said, I loved the location, the room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the rest of the house was very clean. Also, I communicated with Mikala via text while in Montreal and she was very quick to respond to any of my questions. I'd recommend this room to anyone and would stay again in the future!

  • Stayed here during Osheaga Weekend.

The room was clean and quiet and the balcony off the bedroom was fantastic. Easy access to subway to get around the city.

Mikala and her roommates were lovely, and provide us with a citymap and directions.

We had a great time and would stay again in a heartbeat! Would recommend this place to anyone!

    Thanks!

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Mika's place. It's a lovely apartment in a great part of town! Although i didn't get to see much of Mika, in our brief meeting, she was very kind and welcoming. I would definitely go back!

  • We loved staying with Mika and her roommates! Everyone was friendly, helpful and so so nice! The whole apartment was very nice--clean, spacious and the location was great--a short walk to amazing restaurants and shops on Bernard. Mika and her roommates gave us recommendations and suggestions on where to eat, shop, etc.--and they were all fabulous! We would absolutely stay at their place in Montreal again! Thanks so much for the fabulous place to stay, Mika, Delphine & Amie!

  • My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend. The room was bright and clean and the bed was great. Mikala was out of town but her room mates were very warm and welcoming. Mile End was the perfect neighbourhood for us. Lots of shopping, cafés, restaurants, etc... We would stay again.

  • Had a nice stay. Lovely balcony, lovely pastries at Mamie Clafoutis on Van Buren. Hosts were great, friendly, down to earth. The room does have lots of light and the breeze was soothing. Some morning hustle and bustle noises outside (garbage truck, school buses) but nothing major. Overall a fine bedroom!

  • We stayed with Mika during Osheaga weekend. Though we didn't actually meet, staying with her and her roommates was very pleasant and easy. She left us great instructions via email and text and offered suggestions for food and things to do.

The apartment was on the 2nd floor of a house on a quiet street (and close to three Bixi stations and the subway). The space was kept very clean and neat. The balcony was a lovely bonus; a nice place to read and have meals. The bed is a bit on the saggy side, but we were able to sleep well because the house is very breezy and airy.

    Thanks for the stay Mika!

  • The apartment is located on a nice quiet street, and is easy to get to using the Metro. The room is a little smaller than I had expected, but it was very comfortable - there is a small desk and a closet to store clothes in as well. The balcony is also a nice place to relax in the evening sun.

Mikala was very friendly and had some good insights of places to visit during my stay in Montreal, and was helpful to organise my arrival when she was not at home.

Mile end and the nearby Plateau Mont Royal were two of my favourite places to explore during my stay in Montreal, and they are easy to get to from the apartment on Avenue Champagneur.
