Bright, sunny private room with own balcony in beautiful, classic Montreal apartment. Airy, clean, well-situated.
We're close to metro, buses, BIXI rental bike stations, art galleries, shops, bars and restaurants in trendy Mile End and Outremont areas. Internet available. Street parking is available too.
We have a great location for anyone interested in checking out galleries, music venues and great bistros and bars.
Your hosts are fun-loving and young French and Canadian professionals working in design and education.
On parle français et anglais. Hablamos un poco de español e tambem portugais.
We'd love to have a glass of wine on our terrasse, or give you some tips about restaurants or fun things to do in the area! If you need privacy though, no worries -- we're calm and cool.
We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have about our apartment or Montréal.
Please be clean and friendly, that's all we ask! Note that we are young professionals, therefore this room is not appropriate for parents with children.
great location, great apartment - the balcony is awesome to have. no complaints!
Mikala was traveling for most of our trip, so we only got to meet her on our last night, but she was very welcoming and nice! She made sure we were able to get the keys and the wifi password when we got in, and her roommates were also very nice and helpful in giving us recommendations for places to check out in the area. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay. And the terrace attached to the room is lovely!
We spent a fantastic weekend in Montreal and loved the city; The neighborhood is very nice, safe and walkable distance from the metro and lots of nice/hip restaurants and bars. Mikala and her roommates were very flexible and provided a very detailed guide and answered many questions we had before checking in. They are the nicest people!
Very important, the apartment was very clean, convenient, well equipped and comfortable. The room we stayed at had a very comfy/cozy balcony, perfect for summer nights and for drinking coffee in the morning.
Looking forward to stay there next time I make a trip back to Montreal. Thanks for everything guys!
Had a nice stay. Lovely balcony, lovely pastries at Mamie Clafoutis on Van Buren. Hosts were great, friendly, down to earth. The room does have lots of light and the breeze was soothing. Some morning hustle and bustle noises outside (garbage truck, school buses) but nothing major. Overall a fine bedroom!
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We stayed with Mika during Osheaga weekend. Though we didn't actually meet, staying with her and her roommates was very pleasant and easy. She left us great instructions via email and text and offered suggestions for food and things to do.
The apartment was on the 2nd floor of a house on a quiet street (and close to three Bixi stations and the subway). The space was kept very clean and neat. The balcony was a lovely bonus; a nice place to read and have meals. The bed is a bit on the saggy side, but we were able to sleep well because the house is very breezy and airy.
Thanks for the stay Mika!
The apartment is located on a nice quiet street, and is easy to get to using the Metro. The room is a little smaller than I had expected, but it was very comfortable - there is a small desk and a closet to store clothes in as well. The balcony is also a nice place to relax in the evening sun.
Mikala was very friendly and had some good insights of places to visit during my stay in Montreal, and was helpful to organise my arrival when she was not at home.
Mile end and the nearby Plateau Mont Royal were two of my favourite places to explore during my stay in Montreal, and they are easy to get to from the apartment on Avenue Champagneur.
I'm a Vancouver native, living in Montreal for the past four years. I enjoy the fun and flirty things in life: music, art, cocktails and books. My roommates are French and Canadian professionals working in education and the arts.
All three of us speak French and English, and I also speak Spanish and Portuguese :)
