Once home to legendary musician Jon Cleary, our quaint one bedroom/one bath flat with private balcony and string-lit courtyard offers ample space making this an attractive location for your New Orleans getaway! Frenchmen St is roughly 6 blocks away and our residential-like neighborhood offers a variety of eats and establishments right at your fingertips with Small Mart Cafe and Bandit Hair Company right below! There is ample free first come first serve street parking in the area.

The space
Our home is situated in a mixed-use building that has Small Mart Cafe, Pond Coffee, and Bandit Hair Company located downstairs. There is also another vacation rental in the building but no worries you each have your own private entrances on complete opposite sides of the building!

Our one bedroom/one bath property is fully stocked with kitchen, bath, and bedding essentials leaving more room in your suitcase to load up on souvenirs! The unit has multiple entry doors which you are welcome to open and let the breeze flow through. Upon arrival you will climb one flight of stairs to reach the unit entry door. Please note this unit does not have a washer/dryer.

In addition to on-site businesses our neighborhood is boasting with other local attractions, restaurants, bars, and cafes . All within 2-4 blocks of the property you'll find Bywater American Bistro, Horn's Eatery, Pepp's Pub, The Friendly Bar, Silk Road Restaurant and Wine Bar, Flora Cafe and Gallery, The Orange Couch, Crescent Park, JAMNOLA, Marigny Opera House (just to name a few!).
And did we mention already that Frenchmen St is a swift 6 blocks away?!

You'll have full private access to the entire rental which includes a private balcony and courtyard. We will send self-check in instructions the day before your arrival!

Other things to note
There is a train in the general area that runs late at night/early in the morning. It generally doesn’t bother most, but earplugs are provided for your comfort.

As with any major city, please keep in mind that crime can and does happen in EVERY part of New Orleans. We love our city but please be street smart and do not leave valuables displayed in your vehicle and always be aware of your surroundings.

Minut decibel monitoring device on wall behind sofa. This is strictly so we can be in compliance with the City of New Orleans who has ruled this is a necessary device all commercially zoned STRs must have. This DOES NOT have a microphone or camera of any sort.

Or take a ride on the Riverfront Streetcar which is located next to the outdoor French Market that's roughly 9 blocks away.

Bourbon St is less than 1 mile away and Uber/Lyft can have you there in minutes to dance the night away!
