Large, light-filled house with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms in a traditional New Mexico style. Very quiet community in Rancho Viejo, south Santa Fe, with walking and biking trails. It's a 20 minute, 9 mile drive to downtown.
I provide a light breakfast to guests.
The house has a private enclosed landscaped courtyard, a pleasant place to read or eat during the spring and summer. There is a separate entrance to the house from the driveway near the guest bedrooms. Both on street and off street parking are available.
My house is one mile from Santa Fe Community College and the Institute of American Indian Arts. The guest bedroom has a double bed and closet. A private bathroom is nearby. A second bedroom, with a "quick flip" couch/bed is available at additional cost.
— WiFi is available.
— The bus line is close by.
— Kitchen privileges and washer and dryer available.
— No pets allowed.
We didn't stay long at Marcia's, but the place was very nice and clean. Thr neighborhood was very quiet but a close drive into the city.
I and my husband stayed at Marcia's during our trip to Santa Fe. She was very sweet and helpful. Some of the things we appreciated during our short but sweet one night stay at her place -
1. Even though we arrived at Marcia's house very late in the night ,she was waiting for us and even offered dinner for us when we casually mentioned that we didn't have a proper meal that evening. She even suggested we pull our car near her garage on the back side instead of parking on the street as there was a little ice on the street. We felt it was very thoughtful of her to mention so.
2. The house was very warm and cozy even at a wild temperature of 20's at around 11:00 pm in the night
3. She took time even at that late hour (almost midnight) to help plan our trip to Taos and Santa Fe. She offered plenty of tour guides and advice.
4. She served us delicious breakfast the next morning with so many options to choose from.
5. Though the description says the house is in South Santa Fe. It is just. 10-15 minute drive to Santa Fe downtown and the bonus is that it is peaceful and scenic.
We definitely recommend this place.
Marcia's house was beautiful, comfortable and very clean!! Marcia was a very nice and engaging host. She made us a great breakfast that we are enjoying a nice conversation with her!! It's outside of Santa Fe but it has a very easy access to the downtown area. We had a great experience and I would highly recommend it!!!
We enjoyed our stay with Marcia very much. The accommodations were very comfortable and Marcia was a generous and gracious host.
Marcia is a lovely and knowledgeable host. She was very helpful with our stay in Santa Fe like providing tips on what to do . The breakfasts were very yummy (good). Marcia baked pumpkin muffins which were delicious (it was close to halloween).
I definitely recommend others to stay with Marcia.
Marcia was a great host. The place is very clean and comfortable. Marcia was very helpful with advice on what to see in the area. The only drawback is that it's a little far out of downtown Santa Fe, but Marcia is upfront about that in the description, so that's fair. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a great stay with Marcia. David wasn't feeling well so I got to go shopping alone in Santa F!!! Poor Marcia had to put up with him all day. Nice to have coffee and a home baked muffin in the am. Another good AIRbnb for us!!!
Marcia was a great host - she was very responsive despite our late planning, and the place was clean and just as advertised. Recommended to anyone looking to stay in the Santa Fe area.
This was a nice gem off the beaten path but short drive to downtown. Marcia was flexible and willing to accommodate an early arrival. The room and private bath were as described and very spacious, neat and clean. Marica gave me info and personal map for dinner options since I ended up arriving late. Only stayed one night, but Marica was super nice and made me a great breakfast in the am. Thanks again Marcia :)
I had stayed three nights near downtown and wanted to spend one more night in Santa Fe so decided to try a different part of town. I was on my way south on a driving trip so this was a great location to send me on my way. It was peaceful and right on the edge of open country with a safe walking path I happily took advantage of. Marcia's house is tidy and modern with an adobe style and I had my own room with a comfortable bed and my own bathroom. Marcia offered just the right balance of privacy and company and kindly provided a light breakfast and coffee in the morning. A nice touch was the nightlight in the hall and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and Marcia was a great host.
