Hi There! We have a great option for those budget minded travelers who want the experience of Costa Rica in a small house that's has great ocean views and the jungle close by. Our cabina offers a queen size bed with a kitchenette and a bathroom and shower. It has a patio and hammock to enjoy the sound of monkeys and tropical birds.
The kitchen is equipped with two burners, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and the necessary dishes and cutlery to make your stay easy.
The cabina is situated on a 1.5 acre property, located 4.5 km from the town of Uvita. The main house is a one bedroom home that can be combined with the cabina to provide two bedrooms for travelling friends.
The property has a variety of fruit trees, palms and tropical plants. Every morning the Howler monkeys visit the neighbouring jungle. Parrots, toucans and aricari's sing their song. You know you are somewhere special when the jungle speaks!
An SUV vehicle is required for access to this property - as is the case for most of Costa Rica - if you plan to explore and take all it has to offer for it's natural beauty.
Visit Ballena Marine Park and take a walk out to the Whale's Tail during low tide. At Rancho La Merced plan a horseback ride on the beach and to local waterfalls. Charter a fishing boat for some of the most amazing off shore fishing you will ever experience! Rent an ATV and tour though the jungle,, stopping at waterfalls for a cooling swim. Take a tour to the Corcovado National Park in the Osa. Zipline, canopy walks and birdwatching tours. Oh and don't forget the surfing! Take in the skills of the locals at Playa Hermosa or Playa Dominical at sunset, then head out for a delicious dinner at one of many of the fabulous restaurants in our area.
Put on your flip-flops and head to the beach. If you are looking for a vacation rental in Uvita - you have found it!
This is a truly delightful spot to stay! With beautiful ocean views through the jungle and very comfortably and thoughtfully put together, everything you need to feel at home is there. The road to the cabina is definitely a challenge, but doable with 4X4,
I highly recommend Jacquie's sweet cabin!
