Great space with large yard featuring a patio with gas firepit & BBQ, a beautiful wraparound porch, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. This downstairs duplex unit in one of the original historic Craftsman homes is right on the edge of Issaquah’s Old Town giving easy access to downtown Issaquah’s restaurants and entertainment. Also a convenient base for hiking, skiing, or getting into the big city. Near Swedish Hospital Issaquah campus, Costco HQ, Microsoft, T-Mobile HQ, OSI/Spacelabs.

The space
2 bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other full. Also a sleeper sofa full bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, 4-burner stove with oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffeemaker with coffee, dishwasher. dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Washer & dryer for extended stays. Wood stove for those cool days/nights. Wrap-around porch with seating and table, large yard with patio and firepit area with BBQ, opportunities for recreation, free parking onsite. One side of the house faces a fairly busy 2-lane road (25 mph speed limit). There is also an upstairs tenant in a separate unit.

Other things to note
It's very important to us to be able to plan cleaning in between guests since our place is booked nearly every day. Letting us know your expected checkin and checkout times really helps us, if you know them.
Leaving messes increases our cleaning costs, and this will be factored into your guest star rating for cleanliness.
This is a duplex with another tenant, and it is in town, on a street with a fair amount of commute traffic.

Neighborhood highlights

Old town Issaquah is full of life and activity, especially during the summer months. Enjoy concerts in the park, art walks, car shows just to name a few. There are many walking/hiking/riding trails on Tiger Mountain to explore, some within just a couple blocks. The well-known Poo-Poo Point trail takes you to a fantastic view and the launching point for paragliding – watch them take off, or try it yourself! Great local restaurants just a few blocks away include Flying Pie Pizza, Jak’s steak house (amazingly delicious), Las Margaritas, and XXX Root beer. Also nearby is the famous Boehme’s chocolate shop and factory – check their website for tour information.
Other nearby amenities include the community center & pool, library, Issaquah Theater (live plays), wine bars and shopping. Lake Sammamish state park and boat launch is only about a 5-10min drive. Larger shopping centers are within a 5-10min drive and include 2 Safeway’s (including gas stations), Target, Fred Meyer (with Tesla charging stations), Costco, Dick’s sporting goods, as well as movie theaters and hospitals. Just about 15mins east on I-90 is Snoqualmie Falls, the Snoqualmie Casino, and the North Bend outlet mall.
