The apartment was very well located if you would like to be near the central train station. We walked to the flower market and open air market as well as dam square and other tourist sites. If you have mobility issues, there are trams and busses all over and the train station is a very easy walk for day tripping. The apartment was pretty much as advertised. We never met the owners. The staff greeted us on arrival. We had no issues with the facilities. We did notice a small funk as if the plumbing may be having issues but that was not that big of a deal. We would return in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay at the kobalt inn. A fantastic central location. The apartment was lovely and clean and well equipped. We were able to walk to all the main attractions and had great view of the singel and the central station. We thought the bar noise might have been a problem but didn't hear a thing. The welcome from the bar staff was fine and we where helped up the very steep stairs with our bags. The beds where comfortable and the WiFi was awesome. There are loads of bars and restaurants literally steps away, and a very nice supermarket on the way from the station.
Great flat in a great location. We were 5, beds for everybody, very confortable, very good location next to the station and close to Jordaan area. The bar downstairs is great and we had a nice breakfast there.
Just be careful with the stairs! they are quite narrow and steep, a bit dangerous!
We would be happy to come back to this place :)
Great Location, Great value for money, no complaints. Will be recommending to my friends that travel to Amsterdam
The apartment is absolutely fantastic. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and furnished. I'd dare to say that it is better in person than in the pictures. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Central train station, which is awesome. We rented bicycles and there is a bike rack right in front, so bicycle parking was a breeze. Jan met us at check in and gave us a tour of the place. During the tour he took the time to explain the history of the building, from back when it was the store of a shipwright up to the present day. He also runs the cafe/bar downstairs, and has a passion for the place that is infectious. Jan made this the best stay I've had with AirBnB to date.
