Interaction with Guests
Generally I am at the house but some days and evenings I am elsewhere. I you wish you can join me for dinner most evenings.
There are buses the operate twice a day from Canberra to Cooma and there is a bus the circles the town 3 times a day. I have plenty of parking.
Adrian's place is comfy, clean and warm. Close to Woolworths to grab food to cook yourself dinner. 45 minute drive to Jindabyne and a little further to the ski tube to head up to Perisher. Kangaroos and wombats just chilling in the garden was pretty cool for me to see as I'm a city girl! Thanks again Adrian and see you again soon!
Adrian's little Cooma cottage was the perfect place to stay after the big drive from Sydney before getting up early to tackle the mountain. Easy to find, everything you need for a quick stop and lovely electric blankets to warm yourself up on a cool night! Great value.
We had a wonderful stay at Adrian's cottage in Cooma. We were just on our way to the snow at Perisher so got there late and left pretty early in the morning but it was a perfect pit-stop.Comfy bed, warm house with electric blanket and heater in our room, lovely warm shower in the morning. The area itself seemed very peaceful and picturesque although we were just passing through.Would stay again and highly recommend.
We really appreciate Adrian provide such a quite and comfortable place to us in such a cold winter weather. The house is warm and fully equipment, which include everything we needed. We spent a good night and woke up with the birds whispering. Although we have no chance to meet Adrian, we still like to say thank you very much to accept us. Last but not least, if you plan a trip to Cooma, Adrian's house is highly recommend.
Such a great place and very homely and warm when wanting a gateway to snowy mountains or exploring all in Cooma. For those wishing to partake in cross country skiing in the ski fields, Adrian is going to be your resident expert. For us that will need to be next winter. Will be back and meet you next time. :)
Perfect little stopover location on our way to the snow - thanks for your hospitality!
We had a lovely few days here. Easy hour drive to the snow fields and very cosy and warm. Easy to get to and very happy with everything Adrian provided!
About the Host, Adrian
I love to be out and about, mainly in the bush, be it walking, skiing, climbing , paddling..... or whatever. Recently I have taken up the sport of fencing.
Keeping up my fitness to do all of these things is important but I am not fanatical about any one of them.
I am self employed and contract out for a wide diversity of jobs, from optical fibre networks to gardening. I enjoy tinkering with electronics and building (website hidden) and gardening keep my busy at home and I will often cook meals just for the fun of it.
My house almost always is full of music. All types, sometime up-beat, sometimes relaxing.
I believe that sharing and helping others is important so I spend time and energy volunteering.
