Interaction with Guests
My husband, Dominic, and I are usually very busy during the week with work and activities. You might see us in the evenings and we are happy to hang out and share a glass of wine or beer if you want or if you prefer a quiet evening, that's cool too! We tend to spend our weekends exploring the city, spending time with family or hiking in the mountains so you might not see us that much but you can always call, text or email if you need anything.
Come stay in our guest room in a modern townhome located in the heart of the San Rafael Historic district, one of Denver's greatest historic neighborhoods close to downtown. San Rafael is part of the greater neighborhood known as Five Points.
There are several B-Cycle stations (rent-a-bike) located only a couple of blocks away as well as a bus stop steps from the front door that will take you downtown. If you fancy a ride on the light-rail, it's only a 5 block walk! Both I-25 and I-70 are close by so you can head into the mountains easily or wherever you may be going. If you are coming from the airport, a taxi will cost you about $60 one way.
You can also take Super Shuttle from the airport. It costs about $22 for the first passenger and $12 for each additional passenger, one way.
The Skyride bus, Denver's public transportation, is available for $11 per person each way. The closest stop is downtown at the bus station (Market Street Station at Market and 16th Streets). You would need to take a taxi from downtown to our place.
Jon can also pick you up/drop you off at the airport for a $30 fee (one way) depending on the day and time. If you are interested, please inquire.
Other Things to Note
We have purchased a new router so the Wifi is strong all over the house as well as the rooftop deck.
Only people on the reservation are allowed in the house unless you speak to us beforehand about other friends or relatives wanting to visit or if you would like to host a dinner party, etc. Normally it is not an issue.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
You can come and go as you please throughout your stay but it helps if you can tell us what time you plan to arrive on the first day and when you will depart on the last day.
I absolutely loved staying here. Wonderful home, cozy room, comfortable bed, great location and delightful hosts! Couldnt have asked for anything more. If I had friends visiting Denver I would highly recommend they stay here.
This was our first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! Jonathan was great. The room was perfect, the bed was cozy, the townhouse was beautiful. The location was great. The view from the rooftop was was awesome! We experienced rain, snow and sunshine all in one weekend. Jonathan provided umbrellas and a poncho to keep us dry. We are diehard Game of Thrones fans and Jonathan provided his Roku so we wouldn't miss the episode. I forgot a pair of pants in the room and Jonathan let us know we left them. He was so kind and friendly.
I honestly couldn't ask for a better 1st Airbnb experience. I was iffy at first staying in a strangers house & I thought it would be awkward with them still being there but it wasn't! Jonathan and Dominic are by far the nicest and most outgoing people I've come across. They were so welcoming from the very beginning, and were eager to help us with what we needed- such as places to eat, bus routes, airport suggestions, and uber [which was a life saver]. Pictures don't do justice as far as giving a feel for how beautiful and peacefully home-y their home actually is. I'm so glad I chose here instead of a pricey hotel; I just wish I could have spent more time chit chatting and listening to their stories (there was just so many events to attend that we lost track of time!). I highly recommend staying at this place and am very hopeful that they will have us back one day. Then I can finally make them dinner in that amazing kitchen of theirs!
This was my second time at Jon and Dominic's house. Their place is just off the charts quality wise. Location is great, the house is amazing, the room is incredible and the private bathroom is such a plus. But what sets this place apart are Jon and Dominic themselves. They are anyone's dream hosts, friendly, kind and generous. Looking forward to come back!
We loved staying here! It was our first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. Jonathan was very welcoming and easy to communicate with! The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. They keep everything in their townhome clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend staying with Jonathan if you are in Denver.

About the Host, Jonathan
Hello! I work in both commercial and residential real estate. When I'm not working, I am volunteering for local organizations, skiing and hiking in the mountains, trying new restaurants and enjoying all of the cultural happenings that Denver has to offer. There is so much to do in this city and I wish I had more time to experience it all. I recently moved into the Five Points neighborhood and I have been pleasantly surprised with all of the community activities this area has to offer.
