Interaction with Guests
My husband, Dominic, and I are usually very busy during the week with work and activities. You might see us in the evenings and we are happy to hang out and share a glass of wine or beer if you want or if you prefer a quiet evening, that's cool too! We tend to spend our weekends exploring the city, spending time with family or hiking in the mountains so you might not see us that much but you can always call, text or email if you need anything.
Come stay in our guest room in a modern townhome located in the heart of the San Rafael Historic district, one of Denver's greatest historic neighborhoods close to downtown. San Rafael is part of the greater neighborhood known as Five Points.
There are several B-Cycle stations (rent-a-bike) located only a couple of blocks away as well as a bus stop steps from the front door that will take you downtown. If you fancy a ride on the light-rail, it's only a 5 block walk! Both I-25 and I-70 are close by so you can head into the mountains easily or wherever you may be going. If you are coming from the airport, a taxi will cost you about $60 one way.
You can also take Super Shuttle from the airport. It costs about $22 for the first passenger and $12 for each additional passenger, one way.
Uber is now available and quick and easy! About $30-$35 to and from the airport, including tip!
The Skyride bus, Denver's public transportation, is available for $11 per person each way. The closest stop is downtown at the bus station (Market Street Station at Market and 16th Streets). You would need to take a taxi from downtown to our place.
Other Things to Note
We have purchased a new router so the Wifi is strong all over the house as well as the rooftop deck.
Only people on the reservation are allowed in the house unless you speak to us beforehand about other friends or relatives wanting to visit or if you would like to host a dinner party, etc. Normally it is not an issue.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
You can come and go as you please throughout your stay but it helps if you can tell us what time you plan to arrive on the first day and when you will depart on the last day.
Hello! I work in both commercial and residential real estate. When I'm not working, I am volunteering for local organizations, skiing and hiking in the mountains, trying new restaurants and enjoying all of the cultural happenings that Denver has to offer. There is so much to do in this city and I wish I had more time to experience it all. I recently moved into the Five Points neighborhood and I have been pleasantly surprised with all of the community activities this area has to offer.
