Stay in the Nantahala National Forest as our cabin is a 5- star experience secluded with your own 2-acre park setting where you can relax creekside or at the firepit. Peaceful and private. Sit on the front porch and you will see deer, turkey, and wildlife. All of this privacy and only 5 minutes from downtown Murphy as well as Harrah's Casino. The driveway is paved, a garage for motorcycle parking and the property is fully fenced so your pet can roam and enjoy the outdoors. High-speed internet.

The space
Our cabin offers all of the modern conveniences (High-Speed Internet, Direct TV, outdoor grill, as well as a wood-burning fireplace in the main area. Our front outdoor porch is the perfect place for a barbeque and our outdoor deck offers prime wildlife viewing, a morning cup of coffee and a good book, or an evening glass of wine. Our full kitchen includes all modern appliances and fully stocked with everything needed for preparing meals. Full bathroom on each floor.

You will have full access to the 2-acre fenced property, creek, and entire private cabin along with a garage.

During these times we are taking efforts to disinfect the cabin after each guest with enhanced cleaning protocol for your safety.

Zoe and Eric Schechter enjoy outdoor sports and are avid motorcyclists that have been vacationing in this area for many years and became full-time residents in 2015 when they purchased the adjacent property and made it their forever home. Zoe was born in England and raised just outside of London and while vacationing in Florida in 2008 met Eric and they married in 2010 in Florida where Eric had lived for 20 years. They live with their 9 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, 7 motorcycles, enjoy gardening, and hosting guests.. They later purchased this property with the desire to operate a vacation cabin that provides an exceptional 5- star experience for their guests and where they can share their love for the mountains. We are less than 5 minutes from town, yet very secluded in the mountains! Zoe and Eric are proud Cherokee County Firefighters. We are mountain, pet and motorcycle obsessed!
