Great time. Beth and Tim are full of fun stories and are very welcoming.
I'm a very low maintenance person and this was the perfect setup. He has the instant booking feature and I just showed up on my own with his instructions and was set to go.
I ran into him on the second day and Tim was super nice. Fixed the little problem that we had without delay and even let us hang onto one of his kittens for the stay.
The Yurt itself was amazing. It was raining the first night and the sound was incredible. It's like camping but not at all at the same time. I highly suggest it if you are on the fence.
My boyfriend, our 2 dogs, and I had a wonderful weekend at the Yurt. Beth and Tim were both very nice and helpful, along with their friend Caterina. The Yurt is perfect, and their property and animals are beautiful. We hope to get back very soon!
It's my second time visiting the Yurt and despite inclement weather conditions me and my guests had a wonderful time! Beth and Tim, always cool under pressure, outdid themselves making us feel at home. The snowiest Thanksgiving I ever encountered but with their resourcefulness we all pulled thru and had a great stay!
Beth and Tim were welcoming and friendly. The yurt was amazing, so peaceful and charming.
Tim and Beth and their helper were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. We lost power to the lights in the yurt one night and the heat hadn't been turned on, but it was quickly remedied the next morning.
The grounds are rustic and country so if you're looking for pristine Hilton or Marriott accomodations, I'd suggest elsewhere. This is essentially camping, with lights and running water, which is exactly what we were after. We could hear coyotes and owls and other critters at night as we lay in bed.
The skylight was covered over with what looked to be a sail fabric or something so we were disappointed we couldn't see through it. We took advatage of the fire pit and walking the grounds as well as breakfast and pizza night.
It was a lovely weekend in the country. Just what we wanted!
