Ines and Gene were lovely hosts! Their house is lovely and very welcoming. We were able to watch tv and come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was ready in the morning.. cereal, juice, coffee, toast, yogurt-- it was wonderful. My first airbnb experience was fantastic, I would stay with them again!
Top Notch stay with Ines and Gene. Their home is lovely and fresh. Very comfortable room - comfy bed - private bath. Wonderful hosts and treated us like family. Great breakfast - Thank you! It was one of our best finds.
Ines and Gene are a lovely couple who welcomed us into their home and treated us like their own family. The house is lovely and well decorated and as soon as I hit my head onto the bed, I fell fast asleep. Breakfast was served in the morning, and was a nice pleasant surprise. I would definitely come back and stay here again when I return to Myrtle Beach.
We had a very comfortable stay with Ines and her husband. We felt very welcome.
Ines and Gene were lovely hosts, their home and neighborhood homy and welcoming! We arrived very late (12:30am!) and Gene was there smiling to greet us. In the middle of the night it turned out I hadn't left our stick-shift car's hand brake on strong enough, and it wheeled back down the driveway. Ines and Gene were very understanding when the neighbor knocked and woke us all up. They then had a delicious meal ready for us in the morning. We felt very welcome, and very comfortable, and highly recommend staying with them to others! They also recommended Brookgreen Gardens, where we went after visiting Huntington Beach State Park, all a 10-minute drive from their place. Beautiful sites, highly recommended! Thanks Ines & Gene!
Ines and Gene were so welcoming to my husband and I... And their home was lovely... After a long day of driving for hours and a day at the beach, when we stepped in the door to a smiling face and warm and inviting space, we literally took a big sigh of relief. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and breakfast was delightful! This was our first airbnb experience, and we will definitely do it again!!
Ines and her husband were great hosts!
We were welcomed in the outdoor patio with cakes and coffee and had a good chat as soon as we arrived.
The room and the bathroom were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfy. They live in a nice house in a very quiet neighbourhood not far from Myrtle Beach. They suggested us to spend the evening at Murrels Inlet and the suggestion was great; good place to spend a few hours.
And last but not least.....she offered a great breakfast: several types of cereals, jams, yogurt, milk and coffee, fresh fruit etc.
In 4 Airbnb that I have experienced by now, that was the only time where we had a breakfast prepared for us.
Why calling it Airbnb if breakfast is not provided? :-)
Great experience and highly recommended to everyone!
Hi there! My husband and I are retired and recently moved to this large 4 bedroom home in beautiful Myrtle Beach. I am German and during my European travels, very much enjoyed staying in "Pensions" or "Zimmer Frei." We wanted to open our home to this unique lodging style while getting the opportunity to meet and host wonderful people from across the nation and the world. We are easy going, helpful hosts who enjoy living in the Grand Strand area.
