It's a pleasure for me to meet people from all around the world - I'm not working outside so I have time to give them all advices to have a special experience in our country, to discover secret part of south of France.
Marianne was a very welcoming host; she is professional and friendly. The charming cottage retaining its XVIII century appeal is very clean, stylishly renovated, and well appointed. The living area is spacious, bedroom comfortable and bathroom very functional. We especially appreciated the beautiful secluded pool during the heat wave this summer. Breakfast was stylishly served on our private patio with great coffee and tasty local food including her delicious homemade preserves. The location was very convenient to many sites in Provence. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night!
My sister and I stayed in this wonderful 18th century home last week. I had high hopes and I was not disappointed.
We arrived in the early evening into "Old France"; to a garden filled with the smells of lavender and to the familiar sounds of cicadas.
Our host had organised for us to stay in one of her two very beautiful self contained rooms (living room area [with fridge, microwave and TV]; bedroom; en suite). The accommodation was immaculately clean, newly decorated and fitted with air conditioning and of course we had use of the swimming pool.
Marianne baked for us every morning, and made her own jams including, apricot, plum, banana and honey which we had a choice of every morning.
She was the perfect host; a natural! She was warm, welcoming, helpful and not intrusive. She paid attention to us, and to the very the smallest detail which did not go un-noticed and which ultimately led to a more enjoyable experience.
The upshot is that you most definitely should stay here. Explore the area, relax. You will not be disappointed. Marianne deserves to have many people come to enjoy her home.
My husband and I stayed with Marianne for three nights and had a wonderful time. The house and especially the garden are lovely and the pool is great after a hot day. Breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed getting to know her and her husband a bit as well.
Beautiful place with a private swimming pool, garden and breakfast served each morning. Our host, Marianne, was very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed and have been offered one of the best rose wines ever! Thank you Marianne for all your advice and hopefully we will see each other at some point in the future!
My girlfriend and I just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend at Marianne's exceedingly charming home. The room was actually an independent stone cottage in their spacious garden.
She made a point of telling us her accommodations were not luxurious, but the cottage and house were obviously refurbished and decorated with taste and the utmost attention to detail. We felt very much at home, surrounded by flowers and greenery.
Marianne was very kind and helpful, and we will never forget our parting day breakfast. Everything, from the bread to the jams, was not only homemade, but made just right.
A big hug to Marianne from Victor and Soizic
Our great first impressions of Marianne when we first contacted her when making our reservation only got better when we finally arrived and met her, acquainted ourselves with her lovely home and the surrounding area.
Marianne was an excellent host, spending time to answer our many sightseeing questions, providing a beautiful breakfast every morning, and generally creating a warm and welcoming (website hidden). Gervasy was a great base from which to explore many beautiful towns and historic attractions. It was always relaxing coming back for a swim in the pool, refreshments on the lovely patio, and enjoying the well appointed accommodation.
