It's a pleasure for me to meet people from all around the world - I'm not working outside so I have time to give them all advices to have a special experience in our country, to discover secret part of south of France.
My girlfriend and I just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend at Marianne's exceedingly charming home. The room was actually an independent stone cottage in their spacious garden.
She made a point of telling us her accommodations were not luxurious, but the cottage and house were obviously refurbished and decorated with taste and the utmost attention to detail. We felt very much at home, surrounded by flowers and greenery.
Marianne was very kind and helpful, and we will never forget our parting day breakfast. Everything, from the bread to the jams, was not only homemade, but made just right.
A big hug to Marianne from Victor and Soizic
Our great first impressions of Marianne when we first contacted her when making our reservation only got better when we finally arrived and met her, acquainted ourselves with her lovely home and the surrounding area.
Marianne was an excellent host, spending time to answer our many sightseeing questions, providing a beautiful breakfast every morning, and generally creating a warm and welcoming (website hidden). Gervasy was a great base from which to explore many beautiful towns and historic attractions. It was always relaxing coming back for a swim in the pool, refreshments on the lovely patio, and enjoying the well appointed accommodation.
We had a 4 night stay at Marianne's Century home. We enjoyed her breakfast of delicious homemade baked goods and jams, fresh fruit and
yogurt on a lovely, private, garden patio. The private room suited us perfectly with a comfortable bed and bathroom and AC . Saint Gervasy is conveniently located to Uzes, Arles, Avignon, and Nimes.
She kindly loaned us bikes to travel the country roads near Saint Gervasy. Her recommendations for nearby dining did not disappoint and we enjoyed a great meal and evening at La Tableau Gourmand.
She is so very accommodating and talented. Thank you, Marianne!
Marianne greeted us at her door and welcomed us to her beautiful home. The private room, with clever decor was ideal for us with comfy bed, nice bath, AC and a lovely private garden patio to enjoy her delicious homebaked goods and jams along with yogurt, fresh fruit and cheese each morning.
Marianne is so knowledgeable of the surrounding area and the location of her home is conveniently located to Uzes (great Saturday market), Arles, Avignon and Nimes.
She recommended restaurants and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a great meal at La Tableau Gourmand.
She kindly loaned us bikes and we had a wonderful ride on the surrounding country roads. A pool awaits for you for the end of the day retreat!
On our last evening, we enjoyed wine/appetizer and great conversation with Marianne and Etienne.
Some people and places are just special experiences and make a trip so memorable and fun....this is that person and place!
We very much enjoyed our visit and time spent with Marianne and Ettienne. The beautiful property was more than we expected - charming, nicely decorated and private. Marianne served a different homemade breakfast every morning from local sources as well as her personal baking! The cottage is short driving to all villages in Provence, and a perfect location..We wanted to move in for the summer, and hope to return again one day.
La chambre d'hôtes est charmante, confortable et très agréable à vivre. Nous avons savouré les petits déjeuners. Elle est très bien située pour visiter les alentours. Attention pas de piscine disponible pour l'instant.
