Candice (email hidden) always ready to help and talk. Her property is huge (and beautiful!) so there is plenty space for everyone. The location is perfect. Close to transport links (subway, Penn Station and Bus Terminla), major sights and interesting areas. Do not hesitate to book with Candice and you will be guaranteed a good time!
Candice is very nice! She provided good advice and addresses every time we requested. The apartment is very well situated. The rooftop was not available when we stayed but we were out all day long, so this was not a big issue. Thank you Candice, we had a good time!
It was a very good experience. Candice is the perfect host and helpful.
The room is perfectly equiped with comfortable bed, tv, dressing and the/coffee service. The location can't be better : near metro/train stations, 10min to walk for Empire State Building, TimeSquare, Madison Square Garden, ... A lot of service around.
For the noise, you are on the third floor in NY. So, yes you will heard cars. But in my case, i slept without difficulties and without earplugs
I'll be back :-)
Candice was great! Being a host myself, I was amazed by her attention to details such as placing flowers, tea and coffee in the room. The room itself is located at a perfect spot, minutes to Time Square and the Empire State Building. Candice provided me with great suggestions, and was patient when I couldn't get the keys to work on day 1. The place is not for light sleepers due to it's proximity to a main street and the non-stop honking in the morning, but it's the beauty of being in the middle of the city! She also booked a car for me on my way back to the airport. I highly recommend her place and will be back soon!
Candice was great. Extremely accommodating. Thank you Candice!
perfect location, near metro and supermarket
maybe room was too narrow for three people but we were out all day, perfect for two
we used kitchen for breakfast
wifi didn't work upstair and unfortunately rooftop was closed until 15th may
candice is very kind and helpful with advice on the city, she also called the taxi for us to the airport
I suggest this loft four your days in ny!!
Candice is an excellent host! Her place is neat, tidy and the bed is comfortable. The bed linen is of excellent quality, clean and smells fantastic! She is easy to get along with and allows you to come and go as you please. Location is great in a really nice area with multiple subway connections and easy walking access to everything you might need as well as the famous NYC attractions. No pets or smoking suited me perfectly! Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back! :D
I went to New York for New Years with my cousin and Candice (email hidden)e was quick with her responses regarding her lovely home and also when we arrived communication always went smoothly. She was very welcoming and her house is warm and inviting. Her place is situated in a fantastic location, close to almost everything exciting about New York City. I am specially thankful because our flight was cancelled on the last day and Candice let us stay an extra night, she was more than accommodating and I am thankful to her for making me feel right at home. If I go back to New York, there's no doubt where I'll be staying =)
Anyone who wishes to be well hosted in the heart of NYC should cease searching and sign with Candice! I chose her because of the reviews she received and now am writing to confirm what I read.
I spent a cozy two weeks in the smaller room with my adult son and teenage daughter. Candice provided an answer to every query, accommodated my son’s unearthly hours clubbing, and even offered medication and home remedies when my daughter was unwell. Though she works from home, Candice remained amiable even through the days my daughter stayed indoors to recover, sharing lunch with her on one (website hidden) morning was made warm with hand-made stockings filled with lavish gifts over the fireplace. These felicitous gifts reflected that our host is not just interested in hosting but is a person interested in people. Yet, throughout, she showed a natural ability to know just how much socialising her guests could engage in after a full day of sightseeing.
Some guests have commented about the noise and the stairs leading up to the loft. My personal view is that this only made our stay in NYC authentic yet unique. I loved to be awakened by the mild traffic noise in the mornings and a gaily-chirping sparrow, as it rested on the railings of the fire escape. Because her home is in the Flower District, we were always embraced by a floral fragrance as we climbed up the stairs to the loft at the end of our daily expeditions.
We had gone to soak in the culture of the city and all of this fully met our expectations! The subway is along the same street and Broadway and Times Square awaited literally blocks away.
This was my first airbnb experience and Candice has sealed my fate to it! From the initial search to returning home sated, we were trouble-free of any hitch. Thank you Candice and airbnb!
Not only fast on her replies Candice tried her best to help me on my first experience at BNB. She talked with the other guest so I could had the keys even though she was out of home. She is a very kind person and an expert on how to deal with the city. Her place is very well located and one can fell at home in the heart of NYC.
