The space
This home was built in 1900 and it has lots of character! It has just recently been brought back to life and we're always making new updates to it as we go. Enjoy cable and all the channels on a 55 inch TV, high speed internet, new appliances, Keurig coffee maker with free coffee, a comfortable new bed. Off street parking and at the end of the block in front of Memorial Stadium- you really can enjoy your own space here.

Please take notice of the age of this home- the floors are not completely straight, sometimes the doors stick, and it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. If you're looking for a pristine new home, keep looking. But if you want a clean, private and laid back space near all the coolest places Lincoln has to offer- this is it! Especially if you have dogs! . Dogs are welcome, but not on the furniture or beds. Please dispose of pet waste and kennel your dog when you are away from the house. We have a loaner crate upon request. No cats.

Guest access
Huge yard! Tons of space to throw the football or let your dog (no cats) get some exercise.

Neighborhood highlights

Small and safe area. Historically a Russian-German neighborhood with most homes being built in the early 1900s. While some homes are still rented by descendants of the original families, most are rented by University of Nebraska students and young professionals in the service industry for the nearby Haymarket.
The North Bottoms is isolated from the rest of the city by highways, train tracks and creeks. This means outside foot traffic is minimal, making it one of the most quiet areas in the city.

Over the last few years, our family has been restoring little old homes in the same area of the North Bottoms neighborhood. Most were built by German-Russian immigrants between 1900 and 1920. they have received extensive work and updating. We love how peaceful the area is and we hope you do too. It's a simple laid back place. Game days can be wild but the rest of the year Memorial Stadium quietly towers over.
