Welcome to our pleasant small farm. Stay in charming houses, close to a rural life in the mountain village.
The house has a rich kitchen, dining room with sitting area, bathroom with shower, toilet, hallway to a cozy living room with timber walls. A bedroom with a double bed. A bedroom with a family bunk bed and a single bed.
The place is great for couples who want to relax, ideal for families with children who want a taste of farm life or perfect for the outdoor enthusiast with proximity to fishing rivers and mountains.
The space
Gårdstunet is located on Lora, in the middle of the beautiful mountain agricultural village of Lesja, in the mouth of Lordalen. Just below, the rivers Lågen and Lora flow together at their start down Gudbrandsdalen.
The house has its homey character. The log boxes in the house are a few hundred years old, so everything is not in balance, but the house is just as fully functional and very charming. If you are one of those who easily freeze on the legs, you will find slippers in different sizes in the hallway.
Here you can really relax, fire up the oven and just be. If you are not comfortable with heating up yourself, we will of course help you with that. In the kitchen garden you might be lucky to find something edible, ready for harvesting.
