The space
The Stamish Castle treehouse is situated on 30 acres of wooded land at the base of a mountain along with our other three treehouses. There are several springs and creeks throughout, as well as an 18-hole disc golf course. While the treehouse is secluded on the property, it is just 30 minutes from the popular city of Blue Ridge. This provides the perfect balance between nature and relaxation and the many exquisite options for dining, shopping, sightseeing, and adventuring that the surrounding area offers.

In addition, the cities of Mccaysville and Copperhill are a 15 minute drive and have a rich history, as well as some great nearby dining options.

The Toccoa river, a short drive away, offers world-class trout fishing, tubing, and canoeing. There are outfitters all around that offer rentals and gear of all time to suit travelers and adventurers alike. Head over to the Ocoee River Whitewater Center for some pristine hiking options and rafting when the river is up.

Other local activities include golf, zip-lining, horseback riding, high-ropes courses, disc golf, wineries, breweries, orchards, caving and of course, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Additionally, not far away is Harras Casino in Murphy, NC.

**We will provide tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, and coffee mugs, as well as basic cooking items such as rice, salt, pepper, spices, oil, utensils, plates, a pot, a pan and a cast iron skillet. **

Located near your treehouse there is a fire pit for your use. We currently provide fire-starter and firewood for you.

There is a bathhouse 60 yards away from the treehouse which has two hot showers and two bathrooms with hot water, all climate controlled for year-around comfort. The bathhouse is cleaned daily (sometimes multiple times a day). Your treehouse also has a private half bath at the treehouse itself. We will provide all linens and towels necessary for your stay. We also have shampoo/conditioner/body soap provided at the bathhouse as well.

Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other Airbnbs. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well.

If you have questions about any of our treehouse rentals (we have four total), send me a message! We also offer discounts* for military, weekly stay, return guests, or renting multiple treehouses during a stay.

Guest access
Guests have access to our 30 acres of wooded land. The treehouses are backed up to mountain, and there is a pond a short walk away.

Each treehouse has a private fire pit for you to use, and we provide firewood and fire starter as well. There are other fire pits on our property which guests are welcome to use.

Our property features short walking trails throughout as well as other family friendly activities like an 18 hole disc golf course and discs, a balance slack line, bocce ball, and giant jenga.

The other three treehouses may be booked during your stay and other guests may have dogs off leash on the property because we are fully dog friendly. If this is a concern to you (due to fear of dogs or your dog is not friendly towards other dogs) let me know and I would be glad to request any guests staying to keep their dogs on leash.

Other things to note
The Stamish Castle has a half bathroom inside the treehouse, and access to an additional half bathroom and showers at our bathhouse.
