This lovely little cottage is close to town but countrified! 4 delightfully decorated rooms with a natural theme. There is a small pond on the property fully stocked and awaiting our guests within walking distance of the cottage. The Talimena Trail begins nearby & there are year-round festivals & shopping. There are 5 lakes with plenty of fishing & hunting in the area. Once you experience the hospitality of the region you will want to come back again and again! Looking forward to seeing you!

The space
The cottage is fully stocked with everything you will need for a stay except groceries. Groceries can be arranged for so you can start your stay fully stocked. We have DISH TV with local channels for weather alerts. Bring your own fishing poles or borrow some of ours!

Where you’ll be

Talihina, Oklahoma, United States

Located in the Kiamichi Valley, Talihina, Oklahoma is the beginning of the beautiful Talimena trail which ends in Mena, Arkansas. There are hiking and biking trails all through the forest and surrounding areas. Motorcyclists love the trail for it's scenery and open air. 5 lakes, the largest of which is Sardis, offers more fishing than you can shake a pole at! There are several public hunting areas and parks in the area. The nearby town offers shopping and maps to local attractions and dining. There is even skydiving (?) on nearby Buffalo Mountain...the kind where the person jumps from the side of the mountain in a specially designed suit!
