The "Wild Flower Cabin" is one of four cabins on the property of Inspirations at Big Bear Lake. The property is convenient to Big Bear Village & restaurants and both ski resorts and only a couple blocks from Meadows Park and the lake. Each cabin, except the "In to the Woods" cabin(see cabin description)
has one bedroom and bath with living room and small kitchenette. Also each cabin has Satellite TV and WiFi. Note:Mountain WiFi is not as consistent as Big City WiFi.
Inspirations was created as a place for guests to come to enjoy and refresh in the beautiful Southern California mountains. There is also a main house and project room for groups.
Each cabin (and room in the main house) is decorated around a theme that Lorraine, the Inn Keeper, thinks inspire people. The yard is a fun and peaceful place to read or just sit and relax(not in winter, of course). Have established the designation of being a Hummingbird and Butterfly habitat.
There is lots to do in Big Bear in every season. Clean air and friendly people make Big Bear Lake the best mountain vacation in Southern California. So come on up and enjoy.

The cabin was as described but better! The moment we walked in I wanted to stay another day. Unfortunately it had already been booked out for some time. Check in was a breeze and the cabin had all the amenities you could need. We will definitely be coming back.
Although I never met Lorraine in person, she was very responsive and left detailed messages regarding facilities, location, local events/attractions, and instructions re: cabin.
The cabin is intimate, neat, clean, and well-kept.
A person can sleep on the couch but it is not ideal as a mattress.
Thank you Lorraine! The Wildflower Cabin at Inspirations is cozy, clean, and comfortable. We loved the sitting area outside with the fire pit. The cabin is located within walking distance to the Village but far enough away from the crowd. We will be back.
The cabin was just as delightful as Lorraine herself! Cozy and simple, perfectly located close to the water and the town within walking distance. The place was tidy and cute and had a thoughtful theme too. I would definitely stay at inspirations again, this was a great getaway!
The cabin was adorable and within a short walk to a great park and the lake. We were also able to walk to the shops and restaurants. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and cable if we wanted to stay in for the evening.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful summer overnight stay at Wild Flowers. Lorraine made the reservation process simple and straightforward. We were informed in advance of everything we needed to know about the cabin, including how to access it, the directions and even the road conditions, to help make our vacation pleasant. The cabin is really cute and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed staying in a beautiful, peaceful and almost secluded environment, but loved that the lake and village were within walking distance from the cabin. Will definitely be back soon, hopefully in the winter, so we could utilize the heater.
Quaint, affordable charm near everything. We walked into the village rather than drive. Lorraine was as charming as her cabin. Hope to come back when there's snow!

About the Host, Lorraine
Together with my son and the rest of family, we created Inspirations at Big Bear Lake. It has been a dream of mine for many years to create a place where groups can come to refresh and enjoy spending time immersed in their creative passion.
The property has a main house and project room for groups but also came with the three cabins. I have been able to use all the talents and activities that I love creating a great place. Everything about this project was fun because I love all types of crafts, decorating, cooking and meeting new people.
I have two grown children who have married wonderful people and provided me with four fabulous Grandchildren. I always enjoy having them up to Big Bear when there are no guests in the house.
I have also been in the travel business for over 25 years and love cruising and other types of travel. I have always felt that traveling, visiting new areas and meeting the locals helps us to be a more tolerate person.
I would love to have you come up and enjoy this with me.
