This quirky little house totally worked for us! Well equipped for our family. Quick walk to a great beach. Tracey was super responsive and flexible on our check in/out times since no one was before/after us. We hope to stay here again!
Excellent stay-great location, throw-back beach pad, edited towards minimalism yet cozy, comfy house layout, good beds, super for kids as well as the kite surfers. Walk everywhere, including sweet city park for a break from windy afternoons at the beach.
There was a last minute snafu with the stove in this cute cottage. Tracey made quick arrangements for us to stay elsewhere, which was great. We didn't stay in this cottage but saw it from the outside and it looked very cute. Two minute walk to the beach. Tracey was on top of things and our stay went off without a hitch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Manzanita. The house was a perfect place to relax with our 2 dogs. Great location only a block from the beach and a nice view from the deck and living room. Tracey was very responsive and attentive host and we would definitely stay here again.
I felt the listing description was accurate. Great neighborhood. Very close to both the beach and to the shops and restaurants downtown. I would stay here again.
Tracey was a great host, responded to e-mail quickly and was flexible with our check in time since there was no one booked before us. The house is clean and in a great location. We will definitely stay here again!
Great weekend at the coast! Nice and close to the beach. A very comfortable place to stay. Thank you!

About the Host, Tracey
I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up on an island in SE Alaska, aka the famous Inside Passage where all the cruise ships go...love cruising. That is probably where I got my itch to travel. There are only two ways off an island, boat or plane. Luckily those long dark winters give you lots of time to think of other places to be. So now, I am trying to get to all the ones I can remember, places others have recommended, and have found a few more destinations to add to the list.
I am now an Alaskan transplanted to the beautiful Oregon Coast for the past, wow 20+ years now. It reminds me of home, only with the benefits of cheaper airline tickets, and the ability to get in the car and drive more than 20 miles..on pavement too.
I have lived in Nehalem, Or for the past 20+ years and just love being on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem Bay area & N Oregon coast is an incredible place to live, for us lucky few, and to visit. There is great hiking, fishing, beach combing, restaurants, shopping, and tons more to do here all while having the stunning Pacific Ocean to the west and the Coastal Mnt Range to the east.
Loves to travel for new smells, sounds, food, people, and language. My favorite places include Palm Springs, Barbados, Vegas, and anywhere in France, Greece, or Spain and am adding Portugal (added June '14). Dying to go to Brazil, Maldives, Morocco, Istanbul, Dubai and_________ (fill in the blank).
