About This Listing
Location: five minutes to Sonoma Plaza and Glen Ellen, five-ten minutes to nearest wineries, ten minutes to Kenwood, less than an hour to San Francisco, fourty minutes to Napa, Bodega Bay beach, Healdsburgh, Sausalito or Tiburon. Here is what one of our guests wrote in his review: "...and preferred the charming low-key Sonoma Valley wineries we visited when compared to the industrial scale that is Napa Valley these days. If we did it again, we would spend all our time in the Sonoma/Kenwood/Healdsburgh corridor and skip Napa altogether, for which this house location is absolutely ideal".
Our place is privately nested in the hills of Sonoma Valley on half acre lot.

Other Things to Note
There are plenty of wineries everywhere for every taste and price. My favorites are Ledson, Landmark, Bartholomeo, Benziger, Gloria Ferrer, Gundlach Bundshu and Chateau St. Jean. I recommend to take a Benziger Partner Estate tour which provides full access to behind-the-scenes tour of the vineyards, a look at the entire estate, and a private wine tasting. Check (website hidden) for details.
Very close to the Benziger winery is Jack London state park, another interesting place where you can learn many unknown facts from the life of Jack London, take a walk in the woods, or go for an easy hiking.
Where to eat:
The closest restaurant is Sante at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission. It is in a walking distance, very good but quite expensive. All others are around the Sonoma Plaza (2 miles away from us). My favorites are Della Santina's Trattoria (Italian), The Girl and the Fig, Taste of Himalayas (Indian - Pakistan), Red Grape Trattoria (Best Pizza ever), and Sunflower Cafe.
Please make your reservations in advance.
There are two Michelin Guide awarded restaurants in Yountville (40 min drive): The French Laundry and Bouchon with famous Thomas Keller as owner and chef. They are exceptionally good.

Enjoy your stay!
Larisa's house is absolutely amazing. The home was a perfect size for my family during our short weekend getaway. She had ample amenities in all of the bathrooms, games for guests, and left some suggestions on where to go. The home itself is in a great location for cheap and tasty eats. I loved being able to enjoy a cup of tea on the patio swing and sitting out on the wrap around patio to soak I the sun. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sonoma. Thanks Larisa!
Larisa provided detailed instructions, which made everything very easy. She was attentive and responsive. Everything was as described. The house was very clean and had fresh linens. The location was perfect for wine tasting and dinners in town. The kitchen was well equipped. The patio and master bedroom balcony were relaxing. Similar to other comments, we found the futon bed in the 3rd bedroom to be uncomfortable for two people.
We had a great time at this lovely house. The house was as pictured and described, except for the fountain in the foreground. It's close to town and the neighborhood was really quiet and serene. The only downside of our stay was the futon bed in the office was not comfortable to sleep in. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!
Larisa made it super easy for us. The place was very spacious and we had a great time on the patio. Very clean and gorgeous estate. It was close to Kenwood, St. Francis, and other great wineries. Would book again.
