This is a happy house, it has great light and a great location! Great public transportation at your doorstep, too!

  • We had a great experience at Casa Azulita. The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the University, shopping and places to eat. We enjoyed doing some cooking in the well equipped kitchen, and having coffee in the morning on the back table. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable for the 3 of us. The Arizona weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed the sunshine and having a comfortable place to stay! We also ate breakfast twice at Debra's restaurant, the Mother Hubbard Cafe, and it was delicious!

  • We were there for the Tucson Folk Festival, and the Casa Azulita was the perfect place to make our home base:) It was walking distance from the fest, as well as to 4th avenue stores and restaurants. The Speedway location was easy to access from the Interstate, and gave us good access to other necessities (Whole Foods, Walgreens). Her Mother Hubbard's Cafe was a fantastic breakfast joint, also not far from the house! The cozy 1 bedroom housed 3 friends very happily, and allowed us to recharge our batteries before heading out form more music (and heat!). So nice to feel part of Tucson while visiting... we'll definitely be back!

  • Great place, location and host! A 5 minute drive from about everything, plenty of room for a couple. Noise from ambulance sirens going off all the time can get to you but not the fault of the host.

  • We stayed at Casa Azulita for 2 weeks. Debra was very accommodating in meeting us when we got there late at night. She responded very quickly to all of our needs. If we ever need a place to stay in Tucson we will love to stay here again.

  • Ist was a perfect Stay for us in Debras house. The house ist perfect equipped and has everything you need. (Washingmachine, Dishwasher ect), but the best thing for us were the coffebeans and the coffee grinder, so that we can make fresh coffee every morning.
The Day couldn't start better. The atmosphere of the house ist nice, the bed ist big and we felt very comfortable.
The neighberhood ist friendly, laid back and it's a short walk to 4th Street and all the cool Places and to the universitiy.
Debra ist a great host. You can ask her everything you want. She knows a lot about Tucson and the sourroundings.
    We like to come again.
    Thanks Debra

  • Casa Azul was a wonderful getaway for us, comfy king bed, kitchen w/dishwasher, washer/drier, on top of everything else. This is an older house on a busy street, but it was perfect for us. Debra left lots of extra amenities such as coffee beans, toiletries, plenty of towels. We had a great breakfast at her Mother Hubbard's. We recommend Casa Azul & loved our stay.

  • This little bungalow has an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Debra was great to talk with, the house is cozy (really beautiful HW floors in the front room) with a nice kitchen and comfortable beds. Hope to stay here again during a future visit to Tucson!

Hi, I have lived in Tucson since 1987 in West University neighborhood. It is a very vibrant place, lots of fun and exciting things to do all within walking distance. Besides hosting new and interesting people, I am a blown glass artist, co-own a restaurant called Mother Hubbard's-great food!, and a Mom. I love to swim, practice yoga, river rafting, go for long walks or hikes, and work on new glass pieces when I can. Life is full and fun, especially with my daughter who loves the performing arts. Being a host has allowed me to meet lots of wonderful people, some of them becoming good friends. I am always happy to share my knowledge of Tucson, my favorite places and anything else that will enhance my guest stay in the ol'Pueblo...
