Neighborhood highlights

Moose Lodge is in a rural area, about 6 miles from downtown Blue Ridge. You cannot see other cabins from Moose Lodge, but there other homes close by. We ask you to be considerate of the other homes and observe quiet hours from 10:00 pm - 9:00am.

Accessing the cabin is possible for all vehicles, the roads to the cabin are paved with the exception of the last 1000'. This last part is a gravel road, which is fairly flat.

A new hiking and mountain biking area has opened in the area, Fightingtown Creek Nature Area, and there is access to the trails located less than 1/4 mile away!

Our love affair with the Blue Ridge Mountains began on our honeymoon in 1982. On a return trip for our 25th anniversary, we decided to move to the mountains. Living here in North GA for 18 years, I can't think of anywhere else I would like to live. We're just around the corner if you need us. Where do people who live in the mountains go for vacation? The beach of course! Sometimes we want a little change of scenery, so we purchased a new vacation home in Gulf Shores, AL.
