Interaction with Guests
The suite is quiet and private. We are onsite daily and available if the guest has specific needs, but find that letting the guests ask for interaction is best.
The neighborhood dates to the 1930's, and has lots of trees and a family atmosphere. Warmer and drier than most of the US, but pack sweaters and wool socks in the winter. The three local parks within walking distance are worth checking out, the closest is 10 houses away, and is next to the new library.
Public transportation is available at a short walk, and the information is readily available via the internet. Street parking is always available directly in front of or near the front of our home. Observe the street cleaning signs so you don't get a ticket! Burbank/Bob Hope airport is 5 minutes away, most folks cab, but my family and I walk.
Other Things to Note
No filming at this location, please.
Please try to park in front of our house whenever available. Careful about street cleaning, observe the signs! Park your car within a foot of the curb, don't crowd or block driveways, and just take one space, please. Also, park in the direction of traffic.
I have an enormous clothes line available to any guest, and am trying to avoid having people use the suite as a clothes drying area.
Please do not use the toilet as a waste basket. If you need garbage, recycling or compost material removed from the suite, ask me, I have all three bins on site.
This is a quiet family neighborhood, please turn down your car stereo when arriving or departing, and be aware of noise, especially early in the morning and after hours at night. No parties or events here. No drugs. We can provide housekeeping for additional fee. ALL overnight guests need to be either prepaid through Airbnb, or cleared through me, your host, and will be billed at $14. per night. No smoking in the suite. Ashtrays are available, please ask for outside smoking.
This is a great spot! Very quiet neighborhood and central location to busier parts of LA. Jeff was easy to communicate with and the check-in/check-out processes were smooth. Clean, quaint, and lovely place to stay. Thanks Jeff! We will be back!
My stay at Jeff's place was very smooth and seamless. We were in town to be with a family member in the hospital nearby so ease of process was very important. Jeff was very easy to work with, made the process clear and helped us get what we needed. He responded very quickly to questions and was kind and friendly. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, we could walk to the hospital, coffee shops, and a grocery store. The accommodations were clean and simple but exactly as described and just what we needed.
Jeff is a model citizen, truly great guy, made us feel very welcome. No pretensions, super cool and chill, not uptight, created a very comfortable and casual environment - and was super friendly on top of that. The place was comfortable and ideal for our requirements. I would definitely consider renting again.
Jeff's place was awesome! I was working in Burbank for the week and just needed a place to stay. The house was clean comfortable and nicely decorated. There was shampoo and fresh towels and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Jeff was attentive to any needs and was quick to respond. I couldn't have been more pleased with experience.
Jeff is very friendly. The place is clean and I had everything I needed.
Jeff was a great host, although I didn't get to meet him. Instructions were really clear, everything was as it should be and it was all made very simple. Jeff made himself available on email, through Airbnb and phone - although I didn't have any problems or queries. It's a basic but cozy house and perfect for me as I just needed somewhere to sleep every night. I'll definitely be back!

This great park is on the grounds of the library. It is 10 houses away from my place. Plenty of trees and lawns.
This 26,000 square foot library is ten houses from our place. It is less than ten years old, and is a beautiful state of the art library adjacent to the park. Wifi is free.
This is the closest diner to my place. They are known for their turkey.
This is a decent food store within walking distance of my place.
This is great fresh Mexican food. It is close by, prepared quickly ( I always call in my or(phone number hidden)252), good for vegetarians as well as meat eaters, to go or eat there.
Fun club with a huge beer menu. Also, delicious appetizers.
I really like this place, and they have gotten many awards for their pizza. The atmosphere is great, as is the service. Some of the best pizza I have ever had.
This is a super grocery with a deli, Chinese food buffet, bakery, etc. I do a lot of my shopping here.
I have been going to this Chinese restaurant for many years. While it is not as good as it once was, it is priced right and is good food.
Great historical diner, this place is a real attraction for tourists. On Friday nights, vintage and fine cars fill the parking lots.
A Burbank Warner's Bros. tradition. Great ambience, historical place.
If you want healthy groceries, this is the place to shop. Parking lot is tight, but next to another enormous parking lot. Ideal for people staying in my suite, frozen dinners that are super healthy.
