Great apartment in a very lively part of Manhattan, great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Having the L train close by and the bus right at the front door was super handy. Dave was very contactable and easy to deal with. Would love to come back and stay here some time.
My girlfriend and I stayed in David's apartment in 9 days and really enjoyed our stay! The location is great, close to the subway and lots of cool bars and restaurants around Tompkins Square. The apartment is very comfortable and is filled with interesting artwork.
Dave was easy to contact and was also very quick to respond to our messages. Would definitely recommend this apartment for a fun trip in New York!
We stayed in David's Apartment for a week in the winter. I have lived in NYC and have seen many from many neighborhoods. This apartment is just amazingly beautiful. It is located in a very cool area that has around everything you need. The transportation is great with the M14 crosstown located directly out the door. There is an elevator in the building which a plus. I have literally not one complaint. I would (and plan to) definitely stay here again if it works out.
Really happy with this place. Great location, only a short walk from the heart of the East Village and transit.
The decor was really cool. Nice to stay in a place that is decorated with love and attention. It added to the authenticity of my first trip to NYC.
The apartment was nice and what I expected.
However, the key handoff was awkward. I had to go to the deli next door to pick it up and the cashier had no idea what I was talking about until I gave him my phone to speak to the host.
I was given no explanation about the keys. There were about four keys, one for the building and one for the apartment's doorknob lock. The other two for who knows what.
Also, there were no towels / hand towels in the bathroom.
So I would recommend the place, if these issues are sorted out.
Dave was extremely accommodating especially when my flight was delayed and also when requested for a late check out. His apt was awesome in so many ways. The decor was exactly how it looks in the pictures, better in person. His art he had hung up were so cool and so fitting for me really. His place made it feel like home. Internet, heating, everything worked flawless. Key pick up and drop off were simple. He was extremely fast when I needed to text him about random questions. Would definitely stay here over and over again.
We was here for honeymoon.. The perfect Ny apartment ! It was clean and very confortable, we loved Loisaida ! Dave is very kind even if we didn't met him, very quick in answering our question and very pacient . We'll miss his house!
Had a great first NY stay here. House was exactly as pictured, clean, well decorated and bug free.
Dave was responsive and easy to deal with.
Only small drama we had was inactive internet for the first few days. We ended up having to wait for a technician to come and fix the fault. This won't be an issue for anyone else as the problem is now fixed. There was also plenty of Wi-Fi around the neighbourhood and city in the meantime.
Would stay here again in an instant.
My wife and I visited NYC for our anniversary. We wanted to find a comfortable place in an awesome neighborhood where we would feel at home and David's flat was just that. It was exactly what we needed! We wanted to do some shopping/sight-seeing and the apartment was in a perfect location to either hop on the bus right outside the door or it was just a .5 mile walk to the L train. The interior of the apartment was clean, small, quaint, and had lots of character (and weird art). David was super easy to get ahold of and was always very prompt in returning my messages. The apartment is completely surrounded by great food, bars and anything else you could ever need. I'd certainly recommend staying here if you want to have a relaxing time in a great neighborhood in the Big Apple.
Dave has a great apartment in a great neighborhood. The place is everything as noted and then some with terrific charm. I look forward to staying at Dave's again soon.
