Newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Vesterbro, the coolest area of Copenhagen. With only walking distance to cozy coffee houses, great bars and especially the restaurants in “The Meatpacking District”, this apartment is right in the middle of a buzzing city. There is parking in front of the apartment, but at the price of 11 Danish (website hidden). Hour.
The apartment has a Kitchen with all amenities, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and a freezer. There is a small table with room for 3 eating guests. There is a big and spacious bathroom with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Hans' apartment is in a great location - a 15 minute walk from the central station, a quiet area, and many nice bars and restaurants close by. The apartment itself is spacious, warm and the beds are comfortable. It is however a little more basic than the photos suggest, and the sofa has been removed and replaced with extra beds (for this reason I'd say that the apartment is more suited to larger groups).
My contact with Hans was minimal and only via email. He was friendly, helpful and always quick to respond and everything worked smoothly in terms of our arrival at the apartment. The apartment is in a great location and we enjoyed the cafe's, restaurants and bars in the local area. We easily walked into the centre of Copenhagen but we did get a bus back once which stopped close to the apartment and was all very easy. The apartment is spacious and clean and warm. We found the beds comfortable. Our only issue was, as has already been mentioned in previous reviews, the fact that the sofa from the images has been replaced by two single beds. These made relaxing in the living room not a very comfortable experience and really changed the ambience of the room. Whilst it did not ruin our stay I would certainly advise Hans to bring back the sofa! All in all a good apartment, great location, efficient host and a good air bnb experience.
Nice, simple and well kept apartment in great part of town. So much to do nearby. Check out Mikkeller for great beer! Would happily stay again.
All was perfect! Appartment is quite big, close to the city center but still in the quiet location.
Nice flat, good location in Vesterbro, about 15 min walk to central station. The flat has two large double rooms and a really big bathroom. God for 4 adults sharing. The flat was really clean and the kitchen seemed good although we didn't really use it.
Our only issue was, as mentioned in another review, that the sofa in the pictures has been removed and replaced with two beds in the lounge. So the lounge is not so nice to sit and relax in. Good communication with Hans.
This apartment is in a great position, a short walk from the Central Station and my favourite bars, cafes and restaurants in CPH. It was super-clean, warm and spacious, including a large bathroom - a rarity!
I would say, however, that it wasn't a very comfortable apartment for relaxing. The photos show a sofa but hat had been replaced with 2 single beds pushed against the wall, which slipped away when we sat on them and rested our backs against the wall. The same happened in bed: the most comfortable place to sit and read was on the hard kitchen chairs!
Also, the kitchen equipment is the cheapest you can get in IKEA (I recognise it from my student days!) so isn't very effective when trying to cook a meal - plus most of the plates were chipped.
This looks like (and is priced as) a smart apartment but I would recommend it more for a party pad than a relaxing break.
My co-worker and I stayed at Hans apartment for 2 nights. It's a short 15 minute walk to the center and very close to the Meatpacking district which has lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and comfy. We had a great time!
This apartment is exactly as seen in the photos. Minimal and spacious. All the essentials to be comfortable.
Within walking distance (10 - 30 minutes) to;
Bakery (must try!)
Three grocery stores which sell wine and beer.
The best micro-brewery pubs- Fermentorum & Mikkeler Bar
Excellent restaurants- PatePate, BioMio, Mother, Dyrehaven (breakfast), Lele.
Central train station and buses
Nice neighbourhood away from the tacky tourist area.
We highly recommend Hans' apartment if you are visiting Copenhagen and want a more authentic experience (compared to hotels).
The apartment was perfect for our family of four and the bathroom was quite large with a very good shower. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were all comfortable. It was a great neighborhood and an easy walk into the center city. Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious apartment near the city center.
Great place to stay 15min by foot from central station, very comfortable, very quiet and pletly of restaurants, bars and shops.
