Newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Vesterbro, the coolest area of Copenhagen. There is parking in front of the apartment, but at the price of 11 Danish (website hidden). Hour.
The apartment has a Kitchen with all amenities, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and a freezer. There is a small table with room for 3 eating guests. Nice flat, good location in Vesterbro, about 15 min walk to central station. The flat has two large double rooms and a really big bathroom. God for 4 adults sharing. The flat was really clean and the kitchen seemed good although we didn't really use it.
Our only issue was, as mentioned in another review, that the sofa in the pictures has been removed and replaced with two beds in the lounge. So the lounge is not so nice to sit and relax in. Good communication with Hans.
This apartment is in a great position, a short walk from the Central Station and my favourite bars, cafes and restaurants in CPH. It was super-clean, warm and spacious, including a large bathroom - a rarity!
I would say, however, that it wasn't a very comfortable apartment for relaxing. The photos show a sofa but hat had been replaced with 2 single beds pushed against the wall, which slipped away when we sat on them and rested our backs against the wall. The same happened in bed: the most comfortable place to sit and read was on the hard kitchen chairs!
Also, the kitchen equipment is the cheapest you can get in IKEA (I recognise it from my student days!) so isn't very effective when trying to cook a meal - plus most of the plates were chipped.
This looks like (and is priced as) a smart apartment but I would recommend it more for a party pad than a relaxing break.
My co-worker and I stayed at Hans apartment for 2 nights. It's a short 15 minute walk to the center and very close to the Meatpacking district which has lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and comfy. We had a great time!
This apartment is exactly as seen in the photos. Minimal and spacious. All the essentials to be comfortable.
Within walking distance (10 - 30 minutes) to;
Bakery (must try!)
Three grocery stores which sell wine and beer.
The best micro-brewery pubs- Fermentorum & Mikkeler Bar
Excellent restaurants- PatePate, BioMio, Mother, Dyrehaven (breakfast), Lele.
Central train station and buses
Nice neighbourhood away from the tacky tourist area.
We highly recommend Hans' apartment if you are visiting Copenhagen and want a more authentic experience (compared to hotels).
The apartment was perfect for our family of four and the bathroom was quite large with a very good shower. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were all comfortable. It was a great neighborhood and an easy walk into the center city. Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious apartment near the city center.
Great place to stay 15min by foot from central station, very comfortable, very quiet and pletly of restaurants, bars and shops.
We spent 2 weeks in the apartment, visiting Copenhagen and around. We aprreciated a lot how spacious and calm is the appartment. The beds were confortableas well. The washer and dryer were useful and the dishwasher too. There are buses right around the corner to navigate the city, that was convenient. Hans was very nice, responded to our questions rapidly and was helpful.
We had a great time in Copenhagen, everybody was nice and helpful.
My parents and I stayed at Han's place the first week of September. It had lots of room and was light and airy. The beds were really comfortable and was key after coming home from a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen and modern appliances were a great bonus. We made breakfast everyday. The "Black Book" with previous guests suggestions was a great idea. Lots of fun reading about those who came before us! Han's place is 2 blocks from the city bus, 4 minutes from central station. The center of the city is 5 minutes away. We were fortunate to meet Hans...super nice, gave great suggestions on how to navigate the city. He even picked our luggage up at a local coffee shop where we were having breakfast (waiting for the apt. to be ready for us)! There are advantages to travelling with older parents. Great place for the money!! Thanks Hans!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hans' spacious apartment. It was exactly as advertised and exceptionally comfortable. Truly enjoyed the courtyard with the children. An added delight. This apartment is well located for groceries and public transportation.
I'm not sure if there was WiFi capacity at the apartment, for I failed to ask that of Hans. That would of been helpful.
Prior to our trip, Hans was very helpful and accessible to our questions and anxieties. I would definitely highly recommend this apartment to travelers. Loved the bathroom
I satisfided this flat. This flat was really exceeded my expectations.
