Room in Villa located near the lake of Albano (Castel Gandolfo) and the Pope's summer residence.
My house is situated about 50 km from 'Fiumicino airport, and about 10 km from' Ciampino airport.
To go to Rome the distance is about 20 km.
Very close to my house you will find:
at 2-km the stop of the bus (which leads directly to ANAGNINA STATION (STATION OF METRO) and from here you can easily reach the historic center of Rome), (email hidden) Station of the "Castel Gandolfo" (here you can take the train to Termini Station, ticket 2.10 euro , 35 minutes).
You will find a cozy room with single beds(which can become a double bed), very bright and really the ideal place to relax. Also available for guests with a bathroom with bath, TV, fireplace and internet access. There is also the possibility to use the kitchen
In addition to this near my house there is the wonderful Lake Albano, who would absolutely see. Nearby you will also find a small village, Castel Gandolfo where the pope's summer residence and many other monuments
WITH 10 EURO MORE FOR DAY, YOU CAN HAVE A PRIVATE BATHROOM .
It was amazing weekend in rome! It's propably the best place to stay with your friends!
Of the 8 places we stayed in Italy during our trip, this was number 8. It should however also be noted that this was cheap in comparison to other places. The place was clean, and besides the fact that the four of us had to share one bedroom in a house, and had to share the bathroom and kitchen with other occupants, we had a good nights rest.
We stayed in Guiseppina’s lovely mansion for a week and time flew like honey. We were welcomed very warmly, and the family is great, very interesting and exceptionally friendly.
The place is peaceful, with great overview of countryside (if you climb the hill that is close by, you can even see the sea!) and the lake Albano is marvelous (although you need to cross a long tunnel to get there), not to mention Castel Gandolfo and Albano, the towns that you simply have to visit.
We enjoyed walks in the surroundings of the mansion.
If you don’t bring your own transport with you, Giuseppina’s family will help you get to the nearest bus or train stop. And don’t forget to ask about strawberry town which you should definitely visit! The family was very eager to help in any matter, and we even learnt some new delicious recipes from Giuseppina! Thanks for all!
We stayed for 4 days at Giuseppina's house, and we had great time. The house is comfortable & clean, there is everything you need (kitchen, private bathroom), it is located close to a beautiful lake (where you can swim) and near beautiful villages. Moreover, Giuseppina (and her family!) are very family-oriented, making our stay with our child (2 years old) very easy and nice. Thank you for everything, Giuseppina!
Wonderful family, very helpful in every matter ;) The house is not so far from a beautiful lake and a train station, so it was very convenient for us.
Bardzo przyjazne dla polskojęzycznych gości, dziękujemy ;)
Helpful people, great place, clean and cheap. Everything excellent :)
I recommend this place everyone!
We enjoyed our stay with the kids at Guiseppinas house! Everyone was so friendly, flexible and helpful with everything. A great experience! Thank you!
Overall experience was good, had a little trouble finding the place. We're here for one night stop over.
Staying at Giuseppina's was a great choice! The family is kind and very helpful and the house is clean and comfortable. Near, you will find nice, little town with the lake and places to eat. It is a pretty good way to visit Rome, but you need to spend 1,5h to travel each way and 7-days CIRS ticket for 3 zones (€34) or €2,10 each trip if you want :-)
What a wonderful experience! Giuseppina and Stefano were great hosts! Their home is absolutely beautiful, the room is cozy and the bed very comfortable. It's a relatively short walk into town to find places to eat, a town market, beaches where you can rent lawn chairs, umbrellas & paddle boards. Or just swim in the beautifully clear water. The train station is just up the hill so you can walk, or they are happy to take you. You can buy tickets for the train into Rome on the train if the ticket booth is broken or unoccupied. :)
Thank you so much Guisy and Stefano for your kindness and hospitality.
We would definitely come back to stay with you. : )
Much Love to you both!
