  • Ulrika's place is very beautiful, clean and location is great, so close to the centre of the city! The rooms are elegantly decorated and airy, and there is a beautiful terrace in the common area, where we spent our happy hours:).

Ulrika is a great host, very nice, helpful and patient with her guests. I strongly recommend Ulrika's place, and would definitely choose it for my next stay in Florence:).

  • Lodges Le Mura is a gem within the area on the other side of ponte vecchio, a good escape from the hustle and bustle in town. It is really spacious and tidy and new and most importantly it has air conditioning which me and my family together 5 people enjoyed. Buses like 11, 36, 37 would take you to most of the places in Florence and most importantly to Firenze SMN station. Being secluded, the catch is walking from city centre back would take at least 25 mins, so for those with tired legs after dinner, you might not be a fan for a stroll. All in all, Urika has been really really helpful and I couldn't asked for a better host.

  • Our family of 5 spent 3 nights in the "il Duomo". It was really wonderful. Ulrika was very considerate to have the aircon on to cool the rooms to prep for our arrival in the hot summer.
The 2 rooms were really big. and even the single bed was big & comfy for the 5th pax. One of the room had a balcony which we enjoyed sitting there just to relax after a day.
Area was superb, with small shops(including supermarket) around and within 10-15 mins walking distance to the main cities and it give you the chance to go across the various bridges and enjoy the viewalong the way. Bus to main city is just outside, across the road which is 5 mins ride only.
Ulrika was extremely friendly and helpful in all ways. Providing maps and made superb recommendation on restaurant too. And she was always available on phone when we needed help. On the day I depart, she actually travelled down on a sunday to help us to make arrangement for a car to send us to the airport. When I told her I needed help to print some stuff for next destination, she was more then helpful to let me use her laptop.
Overall it was a superb experience and I WOULD come stay again. Have already start to recommend friends to stay here too if they come!

  • Our stay in "Il Duomo" was great. The apartment was a good size for our family of five and it was great to come back to air conditioning after two very hot days of sightseeing. The common areas of the building were very nice. We would stay here again.

  • My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Ulrika's apartment and found it to be luxurious accommodations with a great location that was easy walking distance to most of the attractions but far enough away to be out of the main noise and congestion of the tourist areas. Ulrika was very gracious hostess and I really appreciated her availability throughout most of the day as she was on site. All the amenities worked flawlessly including Air Conditioning and WiFi, and both were very important to us. We all really appreciated how nice the layout, design and cleanliness of apartment was and enjoyed our accommodations as well as the extra amenities such as a common area, patio and access to printer and other computer resources. This was a very comfortable space for a family of 4 with lots of additional amenities. Ulrika was a joy to work with and was easy to communicate with from the coordination of our arrival to our arrival and discussing various transportation options for the next leg of our journey. I highly recommend her apartment for those visiting Firenze!

  • We spent 2 nights here. The apartment was extremely clean and also very spacious. The terraces were wonderful. We stayed in the Il Duomo room. The view from our room terrace was spectacular. The neighborhood was off the beaten path but only a few minutes walk to all of the popular sights. The room has a small kitchen with all the things needed to prepare simple meals. There is a grocery store only 2 minutes walk from apartment. Ulrika was a fantastic hostess. She assisted our needs 100%. There are also great vintage shops and artist studios along the walk to city center. I would stay here over and over! Though the room pictures are great, they don't do the room justice. The space is much larger and nicer than it appears!

  • The stay at ulrika's place was a great experience and gave us the opportunity to enjoy florence has it need to be experienced.
Great new and clean room, great and accurate service.
The only thing you need to keep in mind is that in order to get to the center it's a 10 min walk, which for us was no problem and even fun as the weather was nice, the way is a nuce and simple way.

    Thank you ulrika,

  • Our stay in Florence with Ulrika was fabulous and problem free. The apartment was quite new, clean, bright, warm (for winter travellers) and a nice view of the top of the duomo. And an elevator to the top floor thank goodness. The apartment is a casual 10min walk to the centre of town so you should not be discouraged by its vicinity. Heading into town there are plenty of good food options. You should also turn left from the driveway and walk all the way to the end of the street where there are some good local food options and small supermarket. It was also good to meet Ulrika who was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this apartment.
