Large open concept studio with queen bed, full size sofa bed, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, covered parking, satellite TV, coffee, and tea provided. The bed and living area are shared space as this is a studio.
The cottage is located behind main residence with self check in and check out ease. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed on the porch or enjoy sitting in covered gazebo swing. It is our desire to bless travelers with a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

The space
Enjoy the feel of country in town in this adorable cottage. The cottage is on a large lot with open field to view morning sunrise. It is located behind our house. It is less than a five minute walk to Hulen Park. The park offers pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, a walking path, basketball courts and is the home of Steam Engine 3417, which ran on the Santa Fe Railroad during the 1900’s. Cleburne offers Railroader minor league baseball, along with theater, museums, antique shopping and much more. Other locations close to the Cottage: downtown Fort Worth-30 min drive; Waco-Baylor Bear activities, Magnolia Silos and Heritage Homestead are an hour away; Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers-55 minute drive; Glen Rose and Granbury are less than 30 miles away.

We are a retired couple who enjoy traveling and sharing our cottage with fellow travelers. Jerry loves the mountains and Linda’s favorite place to go is the beach.

Our Story:
Our first date was to a Valentine banquet at church. After a very fast courtship, Jerry proposed in May. He asked Linda if she believed in long engagements.....they were married two months later on July 7, 1967. Jerry was 19 and Linda was 4 days short of being 18.
We had no idea what we were getting into. All we knew was that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Even though we were very happy together, we realized something was missing. Our home wasn’t complete without Jesus Christ. In 1969, Jerry became a Christian and Linda rededicated her life to God. We committed our home and our family to Christ. Together we have laughed and cried, experienced great joy and deep sadness, health and sickness, grief and comfort. We have praised God and failed God but God has never failed us. Our lives have been full and blessed. We are thankful for our family and friends and our Airbnb guests.
