Fantastic midtown location next to Grand Central Station on Lexington Avenue. Surrounded by high-end hotels (W, Intercontinental, Waldorf Astoria) and restaurants. Includes everything that you would expect in a well-equipped Manhattan apartment -- fresh towels, sheets, toiletries, etc. Also, I don't have any personal effects on display, so you can put up a picture of your own family and feel right at home.

Bos Smith's apartment was clean, comfortable, centrally located and safe yet in a bustling neighborhood with lots of activity and an easy walk to the theatre district and midtown offices. A perfect home away from home.
Easy check in, clean, comfortable place. Good value.
This was the first time we used Airbnb. It was my wife's birthday and we were coming to NYC to see a show and relax. While our experience was not horrible, it also was not good and it was not what we expected. We arrived in NYC in the pouring rain and went to the UPS store to get the key, per the instructions we received with the confirmation. Unfortunately the UPS store clerk, who rudely continued with a personal phone call the entire time we were there, did not have a envelope with our name on it. The confirmation said that we could check in at 11 am, although would not have full use until after that if the cleaning was being done. We needed to do that in order to make the 2:00 show for which we had tickets. I called Bos and he said that the cleaning person probably was at the apartment and had the key there so we should go to the apartment. We also received a call from someone who supposedly manages the apartment for Bos who begged us not to give a bad review or she would be fired. We walked three blocks in the pouring rain and rang the outside bell to get entry into the building. As we feared, no one answered from the apartment. Finally a food delivery person let us tag along inside the building with him. We went up to the 9th floor apartment - no one was there. Finally, after another call to Bo and the person who manages the apartment for him, the cleaning person showed up and let us in. We just about had enough time to eat lunch and get to the 2:00 show. Things did not get better from there - the cleaning person accidentally took the food that my wife left in the kitchen, possibly thinking it was from the prior guest. The apartment is incredibly warm - evidently we were supposed to know to run the air conditioners on a rainy cold night. The televisions do not work, at least not in the normal way. (Other people have made the same observation but it has not been addressed.) The shower is scalding hot and blasts straight down with no way to be adjusted. The "Guide Book" says that there is a blow dryer in the kitchen drawer - we could not find it. The apartment was "pristine" as far as being well cleaned but definitely not anything special. The on-line picture makes it look a lot better than it really looks. It is definitely just part of a money-making enterprise, not what we thought that Airbnb is supposed to be about. Maybe someone staying in NYC for a week or more and trying to save money would be content in a place like this - it was not a good choice for a short weekend get away.
We loved our stay here! The apartment was close to everything we needed. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen even had a tea pot and Brita. Tons of convenient extras that we didn't even need like toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We will definitely stay again here next time we are in the city!
My daughter and I were pleased with the location, cleanliness and safety of the apartment. We were there for one night only, so did not use the kitchen or shower FYI. Appreciated the ability to check in at 11 so we could leave our bags and enjoy the city. Would definitely stay again.
The room was in an excellent location and was very clean. Instructions on how to access the key and the apartment were very easy. The overall experience was good. The photos shown as the apartment you'll be getting seem to change. I get the idea that there are a number of apartments under this name and the rooms may be the same, but the furniture may vary somewhat. Also, if you like to watch the news on TV like we do, you may be out of luck. The TV didn't work and we tried to get info on what could be done via various communication methods and never received feedback. But again, the overall experience was good.
Bos apt is really great! Me and my friend Natalia had the most amazing days staying at his place. Super comfy, well located, big TV on the living room and also another TV in the bedroom. The couch becomes a real bed with mattress so was really comfortable to sleep bc we didn't need to share the bed. We stayed during winter with a snow storm and the apt couldn't be more warm and cozy. Talking to Bos was really easy the entire time. From picking up the keys till our check out time was everything perfect. I definitely recommend his place!
This apartment was the perfect size for two people visiting NYC for a couple of days. We weren't there long enough to make much use of the kitchen, but everything was there if we had needed to. It was fantastically located, close enough to walk to most of the things we wanted to check out, and near enough to transit for everything else.
My parents truly loved the place and enjoyed the experience that they had at the apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for two people, location was great and very convenient, lots of Japanese restaurants around the place...which they loved!
Bos was also very responsive, always answered my question within an hour! Highly recommended.
Great apartment. Good space and fantastic location. A couple blocks to Times Square. Located right at Grand Central so it couldn't be easier to get around. I parked on the street which was simple. $3.50/hr on the meters. Apartment was clean and neat.
