I had a wonderful one month-stay at Paul's. The suite is located in a very quiet residential area, it's easy to get to downtown with the subway or streetcar. The charming suite itself is very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is a bit small, it would have been great if there was a sink in there too (next to the shower and toilet), but this wasn't too much of a problem really... I enjoyed my stay so much, this place has everything, great that I got to do laundry there too! Paul is a true gentleman, easy to get in touch with and always making sure if everything's going well. Paul, thanks so much and I wish you a merry Christmas!
Very good and quiet location - walking distance or streetcar,(website hidden) Russell is a very friendly landlord. The apartment is old - but tastefully furnished. All necessary is available.I like to have lived there - unfortunately I had to cancel my trip earlier, that was not a problem. Thank you.
I had a good experience with this rental. It's in a nice neighborhood with a short walk to subway/street cars as well as a Bixi bike rental stall. Easy to get just about anywhere in downtown in a short time.
I took the bus then subway from the airport - it only cost $3 and got me within a couple blocks of the rental.
Paul is pleasant, helpful, and responsive. House is quiet and has all the standard necessities.
Only real downside was the summer heat wave that unfortunately coincided with my stay. The rental has no Air Conditioning (as many don't in this area because it's rarely needed) and only a small fan offering minimal relief for sleeping.
Great location near everything, but still quiet enough to sleep. Very well-equipped place. Will be back!
I actually rented Paul's apartment for my mother, who was visiting me in Toronto for two weeks. Paul's apartment was exactly what she was looking for. It's a beautiful and quiet Annex neighbourhood, and the apartment is just as it appears in the photos. Paul met us personally, and was extremely kind. My mother was very happy with her stay here. If we had any complaint it was that the Internet was occasionally not working, but that was small potatoes.
this was my first experience using airbnb, I found the reviews helpful in making my choice and my stay met all my expectations.
My host was friendly and always available by telephone or email.
The suite was as described .
The room/apartment has a central location near the university area in a nice and quiet, but also very much alive, neighborhood from the turn of the previous century. The room has it's own bathroom and a basic kitchen facility and fulfills all the basic requirements. Within walking distance you have Koreatown, Little Italy, Kensington Market and more, allowing easy access to a bunch of good restaurants.
I stayed at Paul's for a month. He was very accommodating and I enjoyed my stay. The suite was very quiet (perfect for me) and is in a great location! Definitely check it out if you are planning a trip to Toronto!
Paul is a great host. This was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.
