Guests have the entire basement, with a private bedroom, bathroom, huge living space, and a private entrance in a quiet house on a beautiful treelined street. Backyard access, coffee, easy street parking. Walking distance to parks and public transportation, a short drive to downtown Evanston and the lakefront, easy access to Chicago, Northwestern. Loyola, Skokie.

The space
Guest bedroom has full sized bed, charging port for phones and devices, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, portable fan. Guests are treated to Keurig and snacks like granola bars. Mini fridge, hot water kettle and microwave provided. Full private bathroom with shower and tub, shampoo, hair dryer. Living room has long comfortable couch and open space to work, stretch, read, or relax. Twin bed in living area can serve as a couch or additional sleeping area. Guests have the entire basement to themselves. I live on the first floor. There is a door at the top of the stairs that is locked at all times. Please note there is no TV in the unit.

Neighborhood highlights

Safe, family friendly, diverse neighborhood just two blocks from the Chicago border. Coffee shops, parks, and public transportation all within walking distance. I'm an Evanston native and know the city very well- I'm always happy to share tips like activities, festivals, concerts, beaches, parks, restaurants, breweries, nightlife, antique and vintage stores, etc! Guests have a private entrance and the entire basement; I live on the first floor. There is no interaction required but there might be some ambient noise as I walk around upstairs!
