Carl was very accommodating to our needs. We were unable to stay there due to circumstances beyond our control but Carl was very good about it.
La postita was great. Beautiful. The hosts were very helpful when we arrived.
I came to La Postita looking for peace and quiet, and that is exactly what I found: a comfortable home in the top of a hill near the town of Turrialba, surrounded by nature. Once we arrived after a few minutes of driving uphill, we were met by breathtaking views of the mountains, the Turrialba volcano and sugar cane fields. The area is really quiet and private which I appreciated doing meditation and taking walks along the field paths. Many types of birds can be seen, it was really fun to try to identify species with the help of books available in the house.
Both Carl, the host, as Antonio, the house keeper, were welcoming and available for questions and anything necessary (including guiding is to the property which was really helpful).
The sounds of the night are definitely new for someone used to the city! Part of the fun. A great experience!
